Johnny has been playing this song for over a year and a half, lol ... he's the one who introduced me it last year .. he knows his stuff !!
 
OMG!!! I LOVE that song!!! It recently started getting played on the radio here in Chicago on ENERGY. I LOVE IT!!! It makes me want to dance, dance, dance. It's one of those songs that just takes you away.
a Freestyle mix? I'd like to hear it.
 
I was in the CHI for over 2 weeks & I can't recall hearing that song.
 
The song actually came out OVER a year ago .. it is just FINALLY catching on at stations around the country ...

Makeyadance I'm talkin just recently. When were you out here? Like a month ago? Did you happen to listen to 92.7/5 Energy? It's pretty much takin over the B96 listeners. B96 is not what it used to be. I con't even listen to them anymore. *BLAH*
 
First off let me Congratulate you on your 200th post. Secondly, I was just out there last week. I just got back from the CHI. I agree, B96 is losing listeners ugly. But that's what happens when you follow trendz instead of setting them. Look at GCI they are Hip Hop & R&B. They had it going on years ago. So BMX. B96 was running it for a long time. I just ran into to Julian Perez at my cousins. I told him that that I was disappointed with the station. Oh well, out with the old in with the new.
 
I don't doubt that Johnny knows his stuff. If this song is 1 1/2 years old and I've been on this board for so many months, and it's recently getting airplay on KTU, why haven't I heard of this song or heard it on Johnny's Freestyle line-up? No disrespect to Johnny, I'm just wondering why this song is so hot now and it's not on the Top Ten or Sunday playlist, that's all.

I haven't heard the Euro mix of this song, only the (Progressive) Freestyle version.
 
Hey Jason...unless you guys know of a different version than I do..i don't consider this song freestyle.

My on going problem of being able to find 10 FREESTYLE songs to put in my top 10 every month. lol

But even though DJ Icey isn't 'freestyle' I can at least get away with putting it in a freestyle show. I don't believe I can do that with Gigi unfortunately.

Hey, maybe me and u should remix it and do a TRUE freestyle remix ! lol
 
In Chicago, on 92.7/5 it has been the top requested song lately. I think it is a good song. It does have that Freestyle vibe to it. Rockell's "What you did to me" was number 3 yesterday. This was the house mix of couse.
 
the MIX FACTOR 15 version of ILL FLY WITH YOU uses that FUNK FRESH beat and it's sounds PHAT! it gives it more of a Freestyle/Breakbeat feel! Wild 949 has been playin this song for over a year now!!!! it just #1 on their PLAYLIST a couple of weeks ago!
 
Sounds like a challenge. I've been wanting to get back to my computer and my keyboard. Is there an acapella version somewhere?
