A few Shannon's singles are Freestyle music. Yep, I said Freestyle music. I can't believe that some people don't consider the hits "Let the music play" or "Give me tonight" (for instance) not Freestyle music. Just my opinion, of course. LOL 😉

Stevie B only went Gold with 3 albums and Because I love you went Gold as a single. To check this information out: go to http://www.riaa.com. you can search for your favorite freestyle artist and find out their certification if any.

Ok, I've done some research for gold and platinum awards in America. I used the website www.riaa.org, which lists the platinum and gold awards given to singles and albums. I researched albums only. Here's what I found.

Stevie B.'s albums "In My Eyes", "Party Your Body" and "Love & Emotion" have all gone gold.

Seduction's "Nothing Matters Without Love" is gold.

Shannon's "Let The Music Play" album is gold.

Expose`'s "Exposure" is double platinum, "What You Don't Know" & "Expose`" both went gold.

Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's "Spanish Fly" is platinum.

Information Society's "Information Society" is gold.

No response for the names Sweet Sensation, Corina, George Lamond, TKA, Coro, Company B, which means that any album released by them received no awards.
