At the end of last year alot of (rap) artist came out with cd's. (IE: Lil Jon,T.I.,Trick Daddy,Ludacris.. etc. etc.) Now I have been fans of the artist stated and more. but it seems that the quality of the cd's is going down. It's no longer the same. Is it me ? or are other fans as disapointed in some of these cd's as i am ? Let me know...

or maybe because most commercial rap nowadays is declining in quality as a whole? let's face it commercial rap (or c-r-a-p as i call it, sorry), i.e. the artists you mentioned, are turning mainstream & that's ruining the genre. it's all about money now not quality music & that's causing an impact on you, the fans

you're right galvatron. and thats one reason im PARTIALLY glad freestyle isn't in the mainstream. can you imagine nu image or nick colon being played on every radio station & having millions of fans worldwide? their talent would go down the drain in no time with all the cash rolling in.. yup that's the price you pay for supporting superstars. we always complain about nobody liking freestyle, well ppl that's why it's so hi-quality. because freestyle artists are more "desperate" than say snoop or r-kelly
