Just a quick note to say I may be away from the comp for a few days. I'm on my way to Pa.

I have a buddy up there, and he's going through some issues, and since I'm on vacation this week, I'm packing a bag, and I'm gonna show up and surprise him, and see if I can raise his spirits.

I'll try to pop in from time to time, but I can't make any promises. If I can't get on....see you all in a few days....

Hey everyone! I just got back.

Well, I surprised the ish outta him when I showed up at his job! LOL

We left there, did dinner, shopped, went back to his place to watch "Sex & The City" (his favorite show, I've never seen it, don't have hbo) and downed a couple (well....more than a couple) Long Island Iced Teas.

He only did a half shift today at work, so we did lunch and more shopping. Left there about 4:00.

We really had a good time together, and I really made him laugh.

Mission accomplished. 😉

Well excuse me!

As for "unpacking what", you forget I am on a "fitness kick" and had to have like 4 sets of clothes, two to wear to go out, and two to wear for workouts. I sure as hell couldn't go out in my sweaty smelly clothes. That also meant I had to pack shoes and sneakers.

Then there is the stuff I bought when I went shopping......some cds, some books, a Halloween costume. :lol

Aww gee Tank, and everyone......let me tell you......I was really doubting about making this trip. My bud is a private guy, and usually deals with stuff on his own. I debated doing this Monday and Tuesday, and finally decided on Wednesday morning to drive up.

I'm glad I did. Last thing he said to me was "Thanks for making the trek up." and he gave me a big hug.
