ahh yes

its that time again. and the best part of halloween is scary movies. and no matter how many times its on. halloween 2 still scares the freeking piss out of me. that chick running around in the hospital. and that guy saying i've watched micheal for over 17 years. hell find her hell find her.

great stuff.

which movies you think are scariest.

and of course include some great egg stories. from when you were young?

people you threw eggs at. that time of year too.

The Changeling
The Omen
The Exorcist
The Shining
Halloween 1,2,4
Friday The 13th 2 & 3
The Sentinel
The Seventh Sign
Amityville Horror
Scream
The Thing

not that those are all scary, I just like 'em.... 🙂

The Omen- didn't find it too scary, but great movie even though it caused me irreversible psychological damage, because my bro and sis convinced me that I had a 666 branded on my head. I was like 4, and they instructed me not to ask my dad cause since he was catholic, he'd have to "take care of me."

Witchboard- great scary ouija movie

The First Power- with Lou Diamond Phillips

The Exorcist

then there are 2 which I don't know the names for, but one has these little evil men with these egg shaped heads that come out of the fireplace and kill people, then the other was one of those wax horror movies from the early 80s I think. Guy has his wax museum, but they are really people, and anything with clowns. Clowns are the evil spawn of Satan.

Now egging, never done it. I'm just too goody-goody and boring and allergic to eggs.

It's funny, but it was mean as hell. I do have a birthmark at that spot, so you know, I was little, and I walked around really distressed for like a year thinking I was Satan's offspring. I finally got the courage to ask my kindergarten teacher. I tell ya, that lady never forgot me, and guess who got in big trouble. And clowns, OMG! I'm suprised some evil clown association doesn't sue the makers of poltergeist. I've always hated them though. Those painted on smiles look more like evil grins.

Are you kidding? lol, I was gonna ask my dad to cut down the tree outside my window. I was convinced it wanted to eat me.

My godmother had a little clown sitting on the chair by her bed...which was across from the closet...everytime I stood over her house I would hang on the headboard for dear life....and then she kept telling her youngest son that she would feed him to the monster in the closet if he was bad, so he would be sitting there crying and I would yell at him to shut up!....that movie f**ked me up for years!

horror movies today blow.

you know i bet no body knows why they suck ??

back in 1983 cuase the horros movies back in the day where so scary. that there was rash of people sueing the movies for heart attacks. and for mental crap. and there kids and crap.

thats why you notice that movies after 85 where never scarey again.

they were waterd down cuase of the media. now horror movies cuase theyre afraid of law suits or people slamming them.

they telegraph everything the person is going to do so you dont get to scared. and nw a days the monster is more like your freind. and understanadable.

and even now a days you want all the stars to get waxxed. cuase there so annoying.

but back in the day man. when jason or micheal myers or freddy crugar. yo those people were on a mission to scare the crap out of ya.

I agree with you....they are so cliche these days that it's actually funny to me when someone bites the dust...especially because they did something really stupid.

Dianita - the films you are talking about are: "DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK" with Kim Darby and "WAXWORK" with Zach Galligan (Gremlins). Those are two of my favorites (I have about 1000 horror films in my collection) and no horror movie can really scare me, but there is a film called "CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS" from the 70's that is very very creepy. Another VERY creepy film is BURNT OFFERINGS with Karen Black - if horror movies scare you, DO NOT watch this one alone! I won't give anything away - but there are a couple of extremely scary scenes involving a chauffer that will have you up all night with the lights on!

I've seen this one a few times. That chauffer creeped my brothers out.
