wow I vaguely remember that one.... I seem to remember eerie chanting voices... scary.... 🙂
In my opinion, Evil Speak sucked. Some more really great horror films are THE UNHOLY with Ben Cross, INCUBUS with John Cassavetes and an early 80's film called "THE BOOGENS" about creatures that come out of an abondoned mine when it is blasted open. "Eyes Of A Stranger" which was Jennifer Jason Leigh's first film is really good - she is a blind girl terrorized by a crazed serial killer who lives in the building across the way. When news reporter sister (played by Lauren Tewes of "the Love Boat") starts to suspect him, the killer goes after the blind sister.

There are also the not as great but still very entertaining "holiday" movies that followed after the success of the original "Halloween" including "My Bloody Valentine", "New Year's Evil" and "Mother's Day". If you get achance, check out "Black Christmas" - it was actually released a few years before "Halloween" and was one of the first real "slasher" movies.

Very creepy!

Dianita - the films you are talking about are: "DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK" with Kim Darby and "WAXWORK" with Zach Galligan (Gremlins). Those are two of my favorites (I have about 1000 horror films in my collection) and no horror movie can really scare me, but there is a film called "CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS" from the 70's that is very very creepy. Another VERY creepy film is BURNT OFFERINGS with Karen Black - if horror movies scare you, DO NOT watch this one alone! I won't give anything away - but there are a couple of extremely scary scenes involving a chauffer that will have you up all night with the lights on!

Yep. Those are them. Thank you Damian. Yeah, I haven't really been scared by a movie in a long time, since I was little. I do love horror movies though. I was even talking last night to my boyfriend and said there should be a horror channel(if there isn't one already, there may be, but just not available here) with movies and 'Tales from the Darkside,' and all those other classic creepy shows. For some reason I tend to like ones that weren't even so popular. Other movies I likes was 'Midnight Offerings' with Melissa Sue Anderson as the bad witch Vivian, and another girl named Robin and it even had Marion Ross from 'Happy Days.' I liked 'Watcher in the Woods' too. I admit I do get more scared by horror novels. If we talk video games though, Eternal Darkness for Gamecube was the best, with chanting the spells and the voices, playing that one at 1 in the morning when everything else is all quiet is kinda creepy.

I think a horror channel is in the works - but you know how that goes - it takes a long time for everyone's cable systems to get it when it finally does come out. That is why I decided to make my own horror channel by collecting all the horror movies lol - the Tales From The Darkside show was great - I got the entire series off ebay, and I also got the entire tv show "Friday The 13th: The Series" which is another great show...

Wow, not that's a massive collection. Us measley people without a horror movie vault will just have to anxiously await a horror channel. "Friday The 13th: The Series"...now that was a great one. It was just never the same after they turned Ryan into a young boy. When I was younger saturday night had all the shows. I'd watch religiously every week with my brother, even the short lived one with Robert Englund...Freddy's Nightmares...ah, I don't quite recall. That was like 15 years ago.(I think) Heck, I'm excited cause Starz or Encore is gonna have 31 nights of horror movies for October.
