I was at a used second hand store that sells a variety of stuff looking for a certain type of iron with my friend (yeah, for the ironing board) anyhow, I walked pass a box that said "New Arrivals". I took a peek, OMG, the box was full of 45's (the small records, remember those?) Anyhow, they were all "Like New" with Original Picture Sleeves! Right on top was Brenda K Starr's "I STILL BELIEVE". The pic on the cover was awsome. I asked the owner how much for the record, he said "25 cents, or take the whole box for $20.00".
Guess what I did? I bought the box! Theres 203 records in total. Everything from Madonna and Whitney Houston to Run DMC and LL Cool J.

It was loaded with music from the 80s.
It even included some rare freestyle gems...

4 singles from the COVER GIRLS
7 from EXPOSE
3 from STEVIE B
2 from COMPANY B

I LOVE it, I am so excited.
Now, where can I find a turntable or even a record player? lol

I'm stuck on digital with CDs, so now I wanna go old school and get me a record player 😉

But yeah, that was my Saturday 😉

wow what a hot find, ya i would have bought the entire box too - at $20, and full of antiques, thats quite a bargain

turntables eh.. LOL maybe people will sell them at garage sales? no idea how u could find a record player to play those records

You can check Office Max and K Mart they have a real cool 4 in 1 music center that has radio AM/FM, record player, casette player and cd player all in one.

My fav 5 records from the box are...

1. Somebodys Watching Me - Rockwell (feat Michael jackson)
2. Crush on you - The Jets
3. I Still believe - Branda K Starr
4. Whos Johnny - El DeBarge
5. Count Me Out - New Edition

I dont know what I like more, the records or the picture sleeves!
They bring back so many memories

btw, the box also included a 45 of Shannon's "GIVE ME TONIGHT", with pic sleeve! It is the same cover as the LP "Let The Music Play". A friend of mine told me that this record was a collectible and I could easily get $20-$30 just for that one record...
Can anyone confirm this?
