Who follows the "no meat" on Good Friday?

I know we do, and I don't know what we're eating today? :rolleyes I do love fish, just gotta go buy some.

It is not a mortal sin to eat meat on Fridays of Lent. The Church, as a matter of discipline, asks us to abstain from eating meat on Fridays of Lent so that we might prepare ourselves, by sacrificing a little, for the remembering of Christ's passion, death and resurrection during the Triduum (Holy Week).

Haven't eaten meat since Ash Wednesday (is that when it starts?) Anyway, Salad for lunch (or soup) and PIZZA FOR DINNER!!!

Mmmmmm that sounds so good. Well we just got back from Red Lobster and I had shrimp scampi and fried fish with Mash Potatoes and salad. I'm stuffed. :stoned
