GOOD DJ HEADPHONES

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT ARE THE BEST HEADPHONES TO GET CAUSE ALL THE ONES I GET THE EAR GO'S OUT AND I GOTTA KEEP GETTING NEW ONES I JUST WANTED TO KNOW A GOOD BRAND THATS NOT TO MUCH MONEY THANKS

I use the Koss TD-60 or Koss TD-61 (same headphones)...They are inexpensive ($20.00) and sound pretty good hooked-up to a mixer...They suck for for everything else (like listening to a walkman, etc.)!!!

You can find the TD-61 at Tower Records and the TD-60 (comes with a free pair of earbuds) at K-Mart...

I don't recall ever seeing them at Pat's. I know their prices for equipment and accessories are ridiculously high, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe Bob can hook you up.

Basically, you want a headphone that can handle the full range of music, and especially a long cord. I use a pair of Sony Headphones I bought at Camelot Music about 3 years ago, and those are now my practise headphones. When I am working, I use a pair of Technics RP-DJ1200 headphones...much better than my buddy that has the Stanton headphones.

I personally use the Stanton DJ PRO 60.They are light have a long cord,they self adjust and fold up nicely.
They are also pretty loud and bassy so yo can beat mix without a monitor if you can split the output on your mixer.

By the way if you spend $5.00 on headphones and you can hear the hi hats, snare and vocals. (mids,hi lows without distortion). Dont buy the headphones, your friend will have one for free. The True DJ does not use headphones but his sense of hearing.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP I PICKED UP A PAIR OF DJ REMIX FROM SONY WITH A LONG CORD THEY FOLD UP AND CAME WITH A LIL BAG TO PUT IN WHEN IM NOT USEING THEM

yea they are silver ones i have they are nice and lite and i like the lil bag it came with so when im not useing them i can put them in there they are the same ones as dj skribble with a long cord that i need
