If you go to CD Universe it has a track listing for Gioia's CD. It also says it's called "From The Inside" and comes out July 13th (yeah!!). A long overdue CD.

Nice to see her back in action.

I've always been curious about one thing though. How do you pronounce her name??? 🙁
 
I saw her perform about a month ago in Ft. Lauderdale. Shes got such a tight body. There weren't many people there but she made the best of it and put on a hell of a performance.

Lucky -- I wanted to go to the big bash at LQ back in May, but had to be in Buffalo -- clear across NY State -- too early the following morning 🙁

HI Harv Hi Scot!, It's DAMN GOOD to hear this woman sing, not only is she a tremendous talent but a body to die for! (MAMA!) This is great news to hear shes back after all that she's gone through! U know I'll be gettin a few copies!
 
Heard a preview...

I actually heard a preview of the album and the diva & co have done a great job! Been a long time since a dance album had some depth to it while working in fresh music...it's really good. I especially love "Barely Breathing", "Addicted", "I Can Feel You" and "Until The End Of Time" however every track is great but those stand out....really is a good album.

Scotman: If/when you talk to her give her my best wishes...I know how many years of hard work and sacrifice went into this....Great job!

Ok, a question.......Is "Barely Breathing" a remake of the Duncan Sheik song? I love that song, and Gioia would do a great version!

I think I know which song you're talking about and I don't belive it's the same. From what I've heard though, I think it's my favorite track on the album. It's really dark and synthy 🙂

As far as remakes...Gioia covers the song "I Was Made For Loving You" by KISS in a dance version.

And for your Freestyle fanatics...many times in the past when I worked for Gioia we got requests for Freestyle....Although I've only heard a sample, there's a song called "Happy" on the album which is very much Freestyle-esque combined with breakbeat sort of 🙂 Also "Going Going Gone" (a fan favorite from the past) has been put on this album and it has a few elements of Miami Freestyle on it!

I think you're all gonna love it!
