Religion is a crock of shit and has no place in a public area. If you want to discuss this bullshit than perhaps Jack G should create a private forum for all of the Jesus Freaks on CF.

If you dont agree with the forum, dont read it. simple as that. Comments like this make you seem ignorant. If u dont agree with what ppl are sayin, simply say u dont agree or dont say n e thing at all. act your age.

Hola Rhoq! While your above statement has some truth to it...this thread is in the "Everything Else/Shoutouts" forum. If someone does not wish to read this thread they know not to open it.

guys no reason to argue.... johnny o could say whatever he wants... you can agree or disagree... i have a few problems with this religious way of thinking tho............ he keeps saying all this religious stuff over & over but doesn't explain himself.... that to me is a weakness on his part, blaming an imaginary person (god) for what's going on, using religion as a crutch.. this is a dangerous way of thinking... that's just my opinion...
having said that........ we could either ignore all this, figuring he's just writing it here to envoke a reaction.... we could say let's move on, we could say take it to another forum, we could say delete it.... but the bigger picture to me is Bush won due in a large part to this so called religious way of thinking....... so what johnny o is writing here is affecting the world and needs to be talked about..... just my opinion.... 🙂

don't you see the indirect religion / bush connection??? i'm thinking that's what people are so pissed about...... I'm pissed about it all too but I'm trying to be constructive... 🙂

Just because this is "Everything Else/Shoutouts" doesn't mean that should include religious discussions. As you can see, they can easily offend - even if that wasn't the intent of the original author.

As a "man of god" Johnny O should be sensitive enough to know that the general public doesn't like to have religion forced upon them.

I was actually being nice. You should hear some of the things I tell the "Jesus Freaks" that approach me on the streets and on public transportation (I made one of them run away, screaming about me being the devil). :lol

If you want to practice your religion, Great. I have no problem with that what-so-ever. If it helps to make you a better person, then I support you 100%. As soon as you force your beliefs upon me and others when through literature, preaching or other forms of progeganda - that's when we have a problem with one another. Respect me and I will respect you. You can start by keeping your beliefs to yourself.

As far as me "goin' to hell" as NVDisMa729 says - well I don't believe in hell (or heaven for that matter), so I'm not worried. 😉

DiaMoND_GiRL - I hope you found this reply to be a bit more a mature and written by someone of my age. 😉
