Personally, I think when people continue to lie they want one of a few things to happen:
1) they want to get caught, for what reason i do not know
2) they want attention, they want to know that someone cares enough to actually track them
3) they just really be so unhappy with themselves that they want to create drama for them and everyone involved with them

I have had this experience in the last 3 years of my life and I finally could not deal with it any more. Tonight I let her know "Bye. have a nice life"
