I was just curious,can all u guys buy freestyle mixes where ur all from? (by DJs like Tim Spinnin Schommer, Juan 2 Big Perez, Dj Babyface, etc.) Like here in Chicago, in most malls they have these little stores called The Mix Shop, they sell Freestyle, Trance, Euro, House, Old School, Hip Hop, Spanish, and Club mixes. Do they have stuff like that outside Chicago? Cause it seems like not too many people know who Juan Too Big Perez is.😕

I wish I could say yeah but thats not really the case in Toronto. For the last 12 years I've had to ask friends visiting places like Chicago and New York to import these mixes for me. There are some but not as good as the ones you guys have. One that I loved was done by DJ AZTEK, that was a Bomb of mix. 🙁

eVERY CITY AND TOWN HAS A LCAL SPOT THAT SELLS MIX TAPES FROM THE AREAS TOP JOCKS. hERE ITS CHECK CASHING SPOTS CARWASHES(tHATS wHERE i PUT THEM) ANDSTREET CORNERS AS WELL AS SMALL RECORD SHOPS. bUT EACH HOME TOWN HAS THIER OWN MIX TAPE GURUS. i HAVEN'T HEARD ANY OF THE ONES YOU MENTIONED AND YOUPROBALYE WOULDN'T KNOW OF OURS EXCEPT FOR THE HIP HOP ONES LIKE CLUE OR FLEX.

whats up well i am from cleveland and i was raised in ny i grew up on freestyle.when i went to ohio there was freestyle but only mic mac or high power and dma metropolitan.I met tonny spinnin santana and he helped me keep freestyle alive in cleveland and hooked up all the stroes that have freestyle with mad cd's I love al the mixxxmob cd's they can rip it.I have all the puppylove volumes and lazos deamor and allan badmixboyd stuff that is how i kept up on new school freestyle by hearing their records.

He's a good friend of mine. In fact he's supposed to come stay w/ me for a few days in May to promote a new cd. We've actually kicked the idea around about the both of us teaming up together to do mix cd together.
