Hello Peoples of Freestyle(insert stupid drum roll!)
I am here to blow up the spot here in the forum today.I am now putting together the ground plans for my second dream project..."freestyle lives"
Many of u have seen it on the mp3 site or the url leading to my latest free tracks.But it is actually the name of a new compilation I want to complete before this year is finished.I am donating my distribution,studio,and talent to this project and inviting some of the so called "god`s of freestyle" to help me.Im sure that some of those Legends will simply read this clock it for a moment and then go back to their routine of living in the past.SO BE IT!!!!
I for one believe that there are some folks who still REALLY love singing and freestyle.Those who have true heart are the ones im looking for.From Randy Taylor Webber to Carlos Barrios and from TKA to Spanish Fly.I CHALLENGE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU TO HELP ME PUT OUT THE BEST COMPILATION FREESTYLE HAS EVER HEARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right Here Right Now we can get our shit on the radio and in the stores.Why sit around wishing it was still the 80`s or wondering why freestyle is dead.GET UP GET OUT AND HELP ME PLEASE.there is no excuse why we can make some hits if we put all of our resourses together.
OR MAYBE ITS TOO LATE AND THIS IS NOT GOOD ENUF OF AN OFFER TO FEED YOUR EGO`s.

i wonder what it will take

To get some of these legends to brush the dust off their voice boxes and give up some freestyle.Mayn I swear I cant make all of the songs myself.Thats no longer a challenge 😱(

So this is all I get to read?Maybe I didnt take the time to get into Various Clicks but that should be no reason for the silence.
Im talking to all of you people who have called ur selves singers and producers.Notice how quickly y`all respond when someone disses you,or when someone praises you.And almost always when it has anything to do with over dramatic fall of freestyle.
It makes me sick to see such devotion being wasted on those who just sit around wondering what to do about freestyle`s state of Exile.
I am not saying im jealous of those who gotz more fans than me.


I am just Ashamed to know that some of these legends really dont wanna do a damn thing to help our genre.(besides telling us to look@ ur site or buy ur songs)

Kenny, you might want to use another album title, because there already is a CD called Freestyle Lives. It's up 2U.

Also, I wish you'd put the "Wanna Be Ur Lover" Remix on a CD comp or album. Or, can you tell me where I can get the 12"? That's a dope track! TX.

i know ur the beat master, but... if u need any beats for singers to use for some ideas... or whatever... let me know man... im always down.... im new, but into it.... peace

I have rythyms & beats that I've created from back in 1992, 93 and 95 & some that I'm working on now, when I was going to go into the business with two of my other friends.

I still have them recorded onto tapes that were done at my home studio. If someone is interested into singing along to them I don't mind.

I am in the process of burning every good track that I created onto a CD.

Kenny if you want to get together I can show you them.


Just to give you a brief knowledge about me:

I've been listening to Freestyle from the early days of Tina B, Lisa Lisa & when TKA used to sing in community rooms in spanish harlem...

Hey Kenny,

What's up?

Your project is certainly one of the most ambitious projects in Freestyle music for the year 2001, but also for the Freestyle history. Why?
Because I personally think that is otherwise impossible to reunite, especially for a compilation, the most important Freestyle headz in this business. I've never seen that before!?!

Damn, of course Kenny, it will be wonderful to see in a same compilation some legendary names as Chris Barbosa, Carlos Berrios, Tony Moran, Victor Franco, Mickey & Tony Garcia, Elvin Molina, Arthur Baker, Nelson "FFWD" Cruz, Charlie Babie, Albert Cabrera, Tolga Katas, Charlie "Rock" Jimenez, Glenn Gutierrez, etc., but sincerely I don't think that is possible to realize.

But it's an exciting challenge that you wanna launch Kenny!

Hope a lot of professionals will contribute to your project and will respond to you via email or on this board.

But an another thing comes to my mind. Before to gather all those famous producers (and many others that I didn't mention in my post), do you think that first of all it will be more important to think that is necessary to have "real" singers in this business especially among the new generation of Freestyle singers? What do you think?
