What do you think of getting a bunch of Freestyle all-stars and having them all do one song together like Rappers be doing. What is everyones opinion on that?

A project of the sort was already done in Toronto, Canada. The club hit "freestyle for life" is a great opportunity for a broader cover to include german and u.s. acts.

The freestyle for life song is surprisingly good I really enjoyed it
I expected to hear more artist on it but they only had 3 I believe.

It would be cool to see a couple of artist work together on a project like that from all sides east coat, west and Canada and different producers do remixes to it.
If anyone can step to the plate I would definitely be down for something like this.

I loved the "We are the one's" regardless of what some have said about it I thought it was great.
And I believe Willie did his own version for his artistik raster which was very cool.
But unfortunately there are to many ego's in the biz and it would be hard to get something like this going.
But over all I think it would fun.

"We Are The One's" is still a great, uplifting, postitive song no matter what anyone say's. Just listening to it and picturing all those talented artists, together, on one song, in one studio, is truly amazing. I'm just thankful I came across the vinyl when I did back in 1996 at SOS Records in the Bronx. I've had the opportunity to meet Brenda and Cynthia and they are so professional in what they do, but they still take that time to give their fans recognition. Great song, sooooooo underated, a Freestyle classic.

I think it would be a good idea to come out with another one, but this time with different artists.
Here are the one's I would like to see come together.......
Johnny O
Safire
Stevie B
TKA
LIL Suzy
Tolga

Freestyle needs to be able to stand on it's own two feet before it should be allowed to display "strength in numbers", so to speak. Sure it would be nice, one day. Now is just not the time. I agree with you about the egos. Ego trips and "hot tempers" are the last thing freestyle music needs.

The Canadian freestyle mega hit "freestyle for life" can work in a US/German model to include Stevie B, Lil Suzy, Rockell,Ceres, MC G Gabriel, Freestyle Project, The Officers,..... and any U.S. artists who wish to participate as a part of the cover. A great opportutnity that will only work on a major label that has nationwide retail distribution (Robbins for example). A great idea to toss around.

In the meantime, Freestyle Allstars is available on the great compilation Eurofreestyle Invasion vol. II on SPG Music Canada
