Last 3 freestyle purchases:

Miami Freestyle Hits 6 (from HMV at the local mall) - except for 2 or 3 OK songs, this CD SUCKS!! Half the songs are remakes of cheesy 80's songs and the other half just sound very amateur. The worst part is I paid $30 for it because it's an import.😡

Elissa - I Can't Stop (album) (from HMV) - This is an awesome CD. One of the best freestyle CD's I've bought in years. It is BOMB after BOMB after BOMB!!! I love Elissa. She is one of the few artists who isn't afraid to try something fresh.:1luv

High Power Greatest Freestyle Hits 1 (cassette) - I have been searching for this CD forever (good luck finding it if you dont live in NYC). By sheer luck, I happened to find the cassette in the discount bin at SAM the Record Man in downtown Toronto. It only cost me $2 and it is exactly what I expected...Amazing! :spin

2. Stevie B and Friends featuring Reinaldo/angelique/SammyZone/Wickett/tony Moran/Shanna/3N1..great Cd lots of high power stuff ( I bought this Cd from HMV "TORONTO")

The last CD I bought was Freestyle Boom by Tim 'Spinnin" Schommer. I purchased that thru Amazaon.com a few years back. Prior to that, I bought Volume 2 by The Mixtress which was also a few years ago. That one I purchsed at a local music store in Staten Island, NY called Our Music Center. That's about it though. I really don't buy cd's. I still get more pleasure, and satisfaction, out of buying vinyl. I can be more selective that way and not get stuck with songs I don't like.

hey i found the tapes, i was watching them on sunday. there's 100! most of the videos are 80's dance pop tho (Lisa Lisa, Shannon, Sheila E., Jody Watley, Expose, New Edition, etc.) if ya still want it pm me!

Francis: I had to stop the magazine for the same reason a lot of artists, producers, and record labels had to stop making Freestyle music: No one would get off thier wallets and support!

For those of you who don't know, I published Freestyle Music Magazine, the first all Freestyle Music Magazine ever!

It was a free magazine, but I did sell some subscriptions. And some people supported with advertising: The Music Factory in New Jersey and Tazmania Records advertised in almost every issue. Others like Metropolitan, Timber Records, the Record Bar in Philly, Strong Island Records, After Dark Records, the Polygon recording studio and others helped out. But it was never enough!

But newcomers fear not, for I am going to put all naysayers and upstarts to shame when Freestyle Music Magazine goes online in late May/early June. No bull, just all the news thats fit to print.

And Tarp, don't tell me to chill! I read this book before- I know the ending. I'm just trying to edit out the parts I don't like. Don't give me puny excuses!

A true Freestyle Fan remembers every cd or tape they bought, and their weren't that many releases in the past year to forget about, althought there are some I would like to forget about.

And for those keeping count only 25 answered the original questions about thier 3 most recent Freestyle music puchases! 25 out of 563! What a disgrace!
