Does anyone know who will be performing where on New Years Eve? All I know so far is George LAmond and Cynthia will be at Tribecca in NJ...

Stevie B. just finished performing to a packed house at Club Rain in Malden Mass. The crowd was off the hook and kicked off 2006 in true style. Hope to see all the great CF members at upcoming shows in 2006. Thanx for continually supporting Stevie B and freesyle music. Have a great New Year and we'll see you on the road in 2006!!!!!!

That's my question Tank????? Are they trying to say that The Covergirls are not really a group?So who is it that is out there putting on a great show,singing,dancing etc, pleasing fans night after night? Evelyn Escalera who is the lead singer of the group has been leading that group for years. I don't understand what all the drama is about. Years ago,Evelyn took over the tough job of leading the group and it seems that she's done an extraordinary job at it. If this was not the case, the group would not still be getting booked in clubs and arenas around the world.
I keep hearing the term "Original", well as I recall George Washington was the "Original/1st" President of the U.S., does this mean that the presidents after him were "fakes" as some people like to say? Absolutely not!It just means that someone else had to come along and assume the responsilitiy of leader and that is what Evelyn Escalera has done. Look at other bands, their lead singers may have changed for one reason or another but they still perform and there are people that come out to see them night after night because they enjoy the show that the group gives them. Look at Earth Wind and Fire, The Commodores,The Temptations,etc. Look at huge Rock & Roll bands like Van Halen who in the past 20 years have had at least three different lead singers but still perform "ALL" the Van Halen songs and still headline and sell out arenas around the world. The current lineup known as The Covergirls are no different. They are three very beautiful and talented ladies that get out there night after night and work hard for the fans. These ladies are not fakes,they are The Covergirls!!!!
Just ask the fans that come see them and more importantly ask the man that owns the name of the group.
 
If you have not seen a show by the current lineup of The Covergirls which is Evelyn,Lorraine and Sabrina, come out,see a show and form your own opinion. It's unfortunate instead of doing that, some have just jumped on a hate campaign started by a few. This music termed as "Freestyle" is supposed to be energetic,fun, feel good music. I think the drama should be left out because all it does is make us loose sight of the purpose of this music, to have fun.
To all the members out there that send all those positive messages and PM's, I thank you and hope you continue being fans and friends.
 
Evelyn, Lorraine & Sabrina: The True Cover Girls

Rock On TourBoss!! It also seems to me that Evelyn is the lead singer who pulled the Cover Girls back on track. Evelyn's vocals on "Don't Stop Now" got the Cover Girls signed to Epic Records. Michelle, Evelyn and Caroline gave the Cover Girls their biggest hit ("Wishing on a Star"). Angel Clivilles left the group and all of the Cover Girls Fans in the dust. They got dropped from Capital Records because of Angel. The way I see it, if it wasn't for Evelyn taking control and rockin' the mic back in the day...the Cover Girls may have ended when Angel left. I think Evelyn should be commended for carring on a group that Angel has "claimed" she wants no part of.
I haven't seen the New Cover Girls perform live. But I have heard Evelyn sing and I definitely believe in her, Lorriane & Sabrina! 2006 is going to be "The Year Of The Cover Girls!"

Well, I wish everybody good luck. Angel, with her solo and reconstructed group S.A.L. I also wish the Cover Girls all the best in the world also. Really, there shouldn't be any negativity towards anyone. Angel, is happy where she's at and the Cover Girls are happy doing there shows and recording there new song!! I can't speak for Angel but I know that Eveyln, doesn't let the haters and negativity bother her. She has a job to do. She has a family to take care and she loves her fans . Let Angel and Evelyn, Lorraine and Sabrina all have a great year doing there own thing. It's easy to always be negative but being postive take more effort!! Good Luck, Gurls!! Anyway, it's in the Cover Girls manual to be POSITIVE!! It is located in chapter 2!!:silly
 
Sorry Tank, I never read that chapter of the hand book. I skipped to the NEW chapters to look at the gorgeous pictures of Evelyn, Lorraine and Sabrina! :spin

LOL, Tourboss you and Tank are the hilarious ones! I would have to give it up to Tank though. He knows his CG stuff. Plus; he has an advantage...he's already an Honorary Member of The Cover Girls.
