That Is A Bad Remake Of Aventuras Bachata. But I liked his first song slot.

How Are You Toni?

Speaking of Frankie J, I heard a rumor, Frankie J used to sing Freestyle under the name Frankie Boy.

Anyone that can confirm or deny this?

i don't know if he did freestyle but he was a memeber of the kumbia kings with a b quintanilla ..

Yup, I like it, & got it a few weeks ago.
& Naya is correct, it's a new remake of Aventura's hit a couple of years ago.

Frankie J. did do a few Freestyle records, but I am not too sure it was as "Frankie Boy", as they look nothing alike. U neva know though.

yes frankie j is frankie boy. i think hes canadian maybe?

i like aventura's version of "obsession" better anyway although frankie j does sing well

Frankie's not Canadian. He's Latino.
To my knowledge he is Mexican. (As he was a part of the Kumbia Kings, with Selena's brother A.B. Quintanilla).

Him being Canadian doesn't mean he can't be Latino...a lot of Latin people live in Canada, even though it is generally thought of as a very French country - freestyle singer Nancy "For Tonight" Martinez is a Canadian!

Born in Mexico, Frankie and his family moved to San Diego, California, when he was 2. Both his grandfather and father were musical and as a young child Frankie loved to sing and would often entertain his family. Spanish was Frankie's first language and the first music he was exposed to was the rhythmic sounds of his native land such as Cumbias Rancheras and Bandas. "Spanish music and the language is really my roots," Frankie offers, "but I also listened to the same stuff other kids liked like Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, the Fat Boys and Michael Jackson. When I was 8, I was really into Michael Jackson and breaking, and as I got older I was really into artists like Brian McKnight, Stevie Wonder and K-Ci and Jo Jo. You know, the real honest R&B." Encouraged by his family, Frankie began to develop more of an interest in singing and by the time he was in high school he'd begun participating in talent shows and performing at school functions, which was his first taste of what it's like to sing in front of an audience. The experience thrilled him and motivated him to pursue music seriously. So seriously that, by the time Frankie was 15, he was signed as a Latin Freestyle artist by a small dance music label in Canada.
