Ya'll got radio stations that Kicks A$$!! South Florida has Party 93.1 that kicks major A$$!!! And MEGA103.5. They old school, but they play great old school dance and Freestyle, even some new stuff. And Orlando has Party 95.3. They sound great. They also sound like the old days of WPGC(1987-1994. DC) and Hot103/97(NYC). Man you guys are lucky!!!

i listen to party the whole day and it's all trance...i've emailed and everything...i love trance but they gotta mix it up... it sounds like they have a few cds going the whole day. pre made cds...i hear songs like castles in the sky which was played out by power for like 2 months already(hear that song like 5 times a day on 93.1.) the best lunch mix is on 98.3(disco, freestyle and retro the whole hour, the whole week!!!)


lets hope party puts more freestyle. i only hear like 3-4 freestyle songs a day.

Power 96 should be sued for false advertisment. Except for those mix hours, all they play is hiphop. I know hiphop is a good selling style of music, but I would not say it's party music. That's why Party 95.3 is good, they mix it up. They make Dance and Freestyle their number 1 priority and hiphop is the supporting cast!

Mike, trying to get power96 to listen to our request is over and done with in my wish list. Power96 mgmt team only listens to KID CURRY. & KID CURRY LISTENS TO NO ONE. He's a lost case. BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU. I wish I could show you the email I sent him and the reply he sent me...PLEASE...it's a lost case.
 
That's why when the new ratings for Miami radio comes out, it will show that Party will kick Power96 A$$ in the ratings!! On Party931 they be making serious fun of Power 96 and the listeners be calling in about how Y100 is cooler than Power 96(Y100 is good, but too much Britney and Nsuck! I like Footy and the Chix at six though!)

This is a big event for us. Not being in NYC where lots of freestyle acts live makes it hard to get shows down here. Especially the ones the size of Club Blis on the 20th!!! This is good. Clubs aren't willing to cough up airfare often.

We're hoping that the new Florida station will play more freestyle. If we get really lucky maybe we will have the best "freestyle" station.

We can hope can't we? You squishing our enthusiasm LOL.

i have to agree with you bassy...

miami hasnt made waves like this in almost 15 years and we have people listening to this station from all over the country 🙂

I know for a fact that they are fine tunning the libary from where they get there music and if we email and call them they will get more freestyle... I also know that they are planning on playing more freestyle.. So watch out miami will give NYC a run for its money when it comes to freestyle concerts 🙂 I love NY dont get me wrong but i think its time for a shake up
 
Clubgirl I called the station and tried to email. The email got returned. Do you have a good address for the station?

I know Johnny O is watching this too! I agree with you Clubgirl. We might not be NYC but how about NYC and Miami 🙂 bringing freestyle back or taking it to the next level?
 
I get a very weak signal of 95.3 Party here in Tampa, I love that station!

For those in the Tampa Bay area, we just got (yet another) Hip Hop/Rap/Booty station here in the area called Hot 96.1...no DJs yet as they are new, but straight playin' muzik isn't an issue wit' me. Its an alternative to Wild 98.7! C'mon Tampa, bring on a dance station!
