Definitely "My So-Called Life"....to this day I'm still pissed that the show got cancelled because Claire Danes decided to leave the show....But I REALLY loved the Melrose Place spin-off "Models Inc." which featured future Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss...or how about the Dynasty spin-off "The Colbys"
Actually I have been watching "MY SO CALLED LIFE" on DVD, since I baught the collection and still today it is the best real life teen series, ever made.It didnt have goody goody endings like 99% of teen shows.I was upset the ending left us hanging , but felt that ANGELA & JORDAN looked good together. The end scene wth BRIAN,would be unrealstic if ANGELA went off with BRIAN-which i find him to be an annoying geek, I could not stand him.Rayanne f**ked up her relationship with her best friend ANGELA,which I found sad, but stuff like this happens in real life. The show definitly was too good to last, which happens to many shows, but it made CLAIRE DANES into a huge film star, which is well deserved, she did a great job on the show.

that 80s show. i wish it lasted, but the writing was terrible.

hey scott, r u a transfan? i am.

Kills my so-called paycheck 😉 but yup.

Speaking of which, add Beast Wars to the topic list :cool

Everyone knows that Frasier was a spin-off of Cheers...but I wonder if anyone remembers that about 5 or 6 years before Frasier, there was a Cheers spin-off called The Tortellis

Never Watched Or Heard Of The Tortellis
Remember...'free Spirit" I Think She Had Magic & Was A Witch On The Show.
There Also Was "the Charmings" A Fairy Tale Comedy.
"a.k.a Pablo" With Paul Rodriguez, WhO Joked About His Family And They All Hated Him For That, And The Show Also Starred A Very Young Mario Lopez.
"angie"was A Top 5 Show For One Season In The Late Disco 70's Than Disappeared It, Starred Robert Hays(tv's Starman/airplane!/stephen King's Cats Eye) & Donna Pescow(saturday Night Fever/out Of This World)

Don't blame you if you don't remember The Tortellis, frankie, cuz I didn't remember it until I saw an old episode of Family Feud with Jean Kasem...I don't remember Free Spirit, but all the other shows you mentioned I remember well, especially Angie....it also had Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond...but didn't that show also have that actor who played Danny on Fame?

unsure about DANNY, my mom remembers the show more than I do, but I had the chance to meet RoBERt HAYS two months ago, the lead man from "ANGIE" he's a very cool person.
