I'm so happy to hear that Sweet Sensation was as influential to others as they were to me! I used to f***ing love Sweet Sensation. I still do! Hahaha. They were perfection in my eyes. But you know... I have to give it up to my other groups too. Cover Girls, Company B, Seduction, and Expose. I was a sucka for all the girl groups too. Great time for music. 🙂

I'm gonna have to agree with hear say, LAW has to be my favorite group.

I'm with ya on that one. SWEET SENSATION is the sh*t!!! As a kid, I would buy all those teen magazines (Bop, Superteen, the Big Bopper, etc) for all the articles and pictures of the girls. I was excited that they started crossing over big time into the mainstream. Just the other day I watched this super old video that I recorded of when the performed on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve '91. They were so awesome together.

Here's something funny, I was one of the winners in the Big Bopper's contest for the Sweet Sensation home video before the official release. That exact same issue, I read that they had broken up. I was standing in the grocery store magazine aisle almost in tears, no joke. I'm so glad I've held onto those magazines, pictures, old cassettes, footage, and out of print records.
