a lot of peepz say that some of their fav freestyle ballads are songs like "no matter what" , "if wishes came true" , "because i love you" , etc...
but i don't consider these FREESTYLE BALLADS...
freestyle ballads to me are songs with beat similar to "one more try" , "angel baby" , "we won't let eachother go" and so on...
(just thought i'd say that...)

oh! and i had always thought that "louder than love" was a ballad until i saw it on the 'big ones of dance' video - i would say that what made me think it was / is a ballad is the strings in the song and the all-together moodiness of it.

Number one it doesnt matter if its 122 the reason y louder than love crosses over is because of the tempo!!

its a freestyle song cuz of its speed
but a ballad cuz of its words and its tempo

This has got to be one of the funniest things i've ever heard...

Oh my God, it had to be someone who has studied basic musicianship, to put you people on...

First of all, the tempo is the rate of speed of a song...so the tempo of a song is identified by its BPM.

So by saying that the BPM of a song don't matter, but the tempo does, you are totally contradicting yourself. The BPM and the tempo are exactly the same thing.

Damn, must us Cali people always lay the law down?

Best ballad would be No Matter What - George Lamond & Brenda K Starr. That was "our" song since H.S. and it was our song when we finally got married. *sigh* feeling really mushy right about now.

BPM & tempo are the SAME thing.

I'm a DJ, and I have always considered the BPM and tempo of a song to be the same thing: Both BPM and tempo are ways of gauging the speed of a piece of music.

- Fernando Benitez from San Diego, CA -

Look bro, if a song is 140 bpm, and it sounds as if its 130-135, that does not matter...the fact of the matter will always be that the song is 140 bpm...

It's cool that you're a dj, and you've djed where eva you've djed...but just because you're a dj, you can't go around changing the definition of words. The tempo is the rate of the speed of the song...and it is equivalent to the BPM of a song...We can get Mr. Johnny Budz in this, or any other Dj in the world, for that matter...any dj who knows about music will tell you that the tempo of a song, and the BPM are exactly the same thing.
