You should've seen me the other day.....lol!

I went into a novelty/card store, looking for Christmas cards, and on the shelves I found two new SuperFriends items. LOL!!! I actually shouted out in the store "NO WAY!"

The first was a SuperFriends greeting card set. It was 20 cards, 5 different pics on each card. Card #1 was the original group shot with Wendy and Marvin. #2 was Aquaman on the giant seahorse. #3 was a pic of the filmation Green Lantern. #4 was the filmation Flash. #5 was a pic of Zan & Jayna from the comic series, activating their Exor powers.

The second was a small SuperFriends notebook. The cover shot is a color pic of one of the comic covers. It features Supereman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, and the Wondertwins. It has lined pages inside, with outlines of most of the characters of the show. Flash Green Lantern, Wondertwins, Hawkman & Hawkgirl, and the 5 main heroes.

I snatched those bad boys up!!!!!

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE EPISODE WHERE THE SMURFS WERE BITTEN AND THEY TURNED INTO EVIL BLACK SMURFS?

THEY MADE THE BLACK SMURFS AS A TOY BUT THEY GOT CANCELED BECAUSE THEY FELT THEY WERE TOO "RACIST"!!

I thought they turned purple????

I remember them saying "ga-nap, ga-nap!"

OK, HERES A LINK TO THE PIC OF THE BLACK SMURF AND A BREIF HISTORY:

http://bluebuddies.com/Smurfs_PVC_Figurines-7.htm
2.0007 Angry Smurf. The "Black Smurf" is based on an original French Smurfs story titled "Le Schtroumpf Noir". This figurine was never released in the United States or Canada due to its controversial nature. "Le Schtroumpf Noir" eventually surfaced as a cartoon in North America for the NBC Saturday morning series - with purple, not black Smurfs.

yeah, the 80's is were you had more artistic freedom, todays new catoons suck, they would make them how they wan them to look,it's all about money, etc. The only animation I like to watch besides the old school cartoons is THE SIMPSONS,RUGRATS,that's about it.CARTOON NETWORKand NICK original cartoons are tired and not exciting, unlike when we watched THE THUNDERCATS wich was full of great storylines, martial arts, and remember THE TESTepisodes when LION-O had to fight each THUNDERCAT,that was cool!!!!!!!

First of the Alternators series, Smokescreen (Subaru Impreza WRC, modeled after an ACTUAL race car (Japan's equivalent to NASCAR, even has all of the real car's logos 😱 )) finally reached Rochester, and it is KICK @$$!!! :cool :drool

I watched the JUSTICE LEAGUE on cartoon network and it was pretty good.WONDER WOMAN will always be the hottest superhero, still I think ROSELYN SANCHEZ will be best for that role.
