Seriously - The boxing ring idea would actually be a nice illustration of the battle K refered to.

As far as changing Freestyle to make it more in tune with today's sounds. It is a very tough road to travel but with hard work and dedication, anything is possible and achievable.

I have watched Freestyle grow from it's infancy. I have watched Freestyle mature and shine in it's heyday. I have also watched as Freestyle flirted with suicide. You brought up an excellent point, I am probably the most vocal person here and the most critical because I believe that Freestyle right now at this present time is in very sad shape. Over the past few years various producers have tried their best to help Freestyle evolve by adding elements from other types of dance music. Overall, they gave it their best shot but failed to take Freestyle off of life support. I admire your vision and I have faith that it can work. I'm not sure how much of the newer Freestyle you are familiar with but part of my evolution vision includes the best of the best of the best...

The best of the Old School Freestyle sound combined with raw Hip-hop beats and progressive synths...Each era of Freestyle's life has had it's pro's and con's if can draw all of the pro's from each stage together and adding hip-hop to mix we will be on the right track.

If we can find a way to combine all 3 things - distributing each element to compliment each other then we could find the new recipe for Freestyle in the 2000's and beyond...
 
since the early days freestyle has not moved as a unit.
that what it needs now. to move as a united front

rhoq the overabundance of BAD fs certainly tarnished the rep along with all those never ending comps with tracks heard again and again!

but if this new music evolution is really GOOD music is really GOOD beats and is danceable...why wouldn't it work. Getting people to buy the product and support the money trail especially with all the new DANCE stations popping up. MIAMI, DENVER, SF, TX etc. I mean if we all really get behind it and really start helping as ONE COMMUNITY...anything is possible. Let's try this. I am behind whatever as long as it is GOOD QUALITY MUSIC. We have nothing to lose here and everything to gain:hearton
 
Bassy, I agree - but it is much easier said than done. This can not and will not happen over night. It is going to take a lot of hard work on everyone's behalf to make this happen and to make this work. What I hope to see is a new standard of quality that our music is held to even if this means Freestyle goes into a cocoon for a year or two while this metamorphasis is taking place. Good things can happen but the artists, producers, labels and fans have to be willing to to put their 110% into this.
 
LIKE I SAID LETS DO THIS, WE NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO DO IT THEN TO INCORPORATE THESE IDEAS. IN ORDER FOR THIS TO HAPPEN EVERYONE HAS TO COME TOGETHER TO SUPPORT IT. TAKE THE IDEAS AND WORK WITH THEM LIKE I SAID LETS BREATHE SOME LIFE INTO IT. COMBINING ALL THESE ELEMENTS IN ONE CAN TRULY CHANGE THE MUSIC AS WE KNOW IT. I LOOK AT THIS AS A POSITIVE MOVEMENT AND ITS ABOUT TIME IT ALL GOT PUT OUT THERE. SO THIS HIP-HOP LOVING FREESTYLE HEAD IS ALL UP IN IT HOLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAA @ YOUR GIRL SEXY MUCH LOVE CF 😀
 
It's about time somethings getting done. Kay and Ty, and all true freestylers out there I applaude your efforts in making this happen. Latin Hip-Hop shall rise again. Forget all the crap thats been put out the last couple of years and start fresh with a motivation to take over the airwaves. I'm a kid from Jersey who believes music keeps the world turning and good music keeps the world chillin and dancing...so yo as many been saying....."LET'S DO THIS"
