I'm trying to find out who this song is by, and the title. I think I heard it for the first time in '84-'85. There is a female sing a corus (words may be a little off): "Life is simple, it's either fast or slow...but baby (or dj), please let me know if you want me around...there are so many things that you can do or see " there's more but I can't rember, then there is a male vocal saying he's the dj. It has a really tight beat-not that much different than "When I hear music" by Trinere.

Opps! Yeah, I know...I get the two of them confused sometimes. I love freestyle and this is one of the best songs that I ever heard (I used to breakdance to it), I would really classify it as "old school hip hop" Think about it, and give me a shout if you can figure out my poor description! You can start by telling me your favorite freestyle/ hip-hop songs between "I remember What you Like" and "Come into My Arms"!
