Don't confuse "Love" with being "In love". People love there cars, cats, dogs, whatever... but they're not in love with those things. That guy could be saying the truth, that he loves her. If he were to say that he's in love with her, i would say that he's either lying to himself or he wasn't in love with the other chick.

It took me 2 & 1/2 years......but I had to do it- he got on my last nerve, but yet even with the communication...we didn't have anything else to say anymore. He's a good man, my ex b/f......but I know deep down inside, and I still feel this way..that I was so comfortable with him, it's like almost using him.
I'm lonely but with the help and companionship of friends,,
