I had a talk with one of my guys recently... We are mad cool, something close to best friends.
Either way... he was with this one chick for a lonnnngggg... and i mean LONG time! So times got hard for them and they decided to take a break... to you know, try to explore different things. SO if they both feel like they're perfect for each other they will be back as one again.
Either way... that happened about like 2-3 weeks ago that they broke up.
So recently, I was talking to him and he was talking away about this chick he met (RECENTLY!)... I mean, guys, he told me he LOVED her! How he wants to spend his life making her happy. Meanwhile that girl he was with before they were engaged. I was sitting there listening till I could take no more...

HOW THE F*CK CAN U STOP LOVING SOMEONE IN A MATTER OF DAYS?!?!?!?!

People like that kill the meaning of the word LOVE for me. Love is supposed to be real and eternal. Meaning once you loved someone you can't say they have no part in your heart... unless they did something to badly hurt you, which this girl didn't.

SO tell me guys... is that RIGHT?! or am I the one outdated on the meaning of a word LOVE? 😡
 
No I agree with YOU!!!! Which is why I don't use the word LOVE sooo loosely I use NUB but now it seems people are using NUB tooo loosely 😱
 
hahaha but i mean this dude was head over hills with that other gurl and he was thinking it was a mistake to break up.. only after a matter of days he calls to tell me the GRAND NEWS! damn ma, that just killed me...
.. now i question if anyone who ever told me they loved me meant it.

That word love is tossed around to losely and frivilously.
Its easy to say I love you, but to truly feel it is another thing.
When you get that feeling inside you that you feel complete, wanted, admired and adored, THATS LOVE.

When your willing to lose your job, your house, your own organs for that one person, THATS LOVE.

Theres too much fake sh*t going round these days that people confuse infatuation with love, THAT AINT LOVE.

No matter how sad, depressed or any jumble of feelings that a person may go through, they know it will get better because somebody out there who would give up there own breath of life for you to live one more day, THATS LOVE!!!

It's really hard to say because there are so many different ways to define the word "love". All I know is that when a certain someone tells me that he loves me, it makes me feel really good inside. Of course, love is not a word to be taken lightly but when you know that someone loves you, it is a feeling like no other!
