Tell me no one heard it this morning?

Right after they played SAFIRE's "boy ive been told" Baltaza says "safire....a little freestyle for you. where is she now? hey speedy....whats up with her?"

SPEEDY replies "oh, she just had a kid and she is workin on new stuff. I know she did a spanish album too."

Speedy says something else then Baltazar chimes in "yea, i bet well see her at a QUIKIE MART real soon.

that is messed up from our perspective....... I love KTU & I'm embarrassed by what they said........ but just remember it's a morning show & that's what they do........ they make fun of people just for laughs....... I agree it wasn't cool tho........ 🙁
 
well, it started off "nice" then they just went downhill from there. I know I wasnt laughin one bit. I was trying to call and cuss them out but i never get a chance to get through livin on long island.
 
Well she doesn't need to work at a Quickie Mart, so I guess she's having the last laugh. :safire
 
Ive heard them make fun of freestyle and it's artists before. (I definitely recall Coro being one of them). Which is sad being that they play the music!!!!

Kenny that sounds like the typical radio crap to me! It's funny because I have my alarm clock set to KTU station and when it went off this morning they were playing Wil's song, "You'll Never Find Another Love". I just burst out laughing. :lol I think it was because it was at the part "Then once again, I prove my love to you. You'll Never Find Another love like mine, you look and you look you'll never find love." Then we waited to see if they were going to say something about "&MORE" but they didn't. I probably would've laughed at that too! :lol

So getting back to Safire, It's not hurting her as far as what they say. That's radio.
 
It's no surprise to me.

Baltazaar was an idiotic a*****e up here in Boston- a total loser.

He left a station up here in Boston that played "Today's Hip-Hop & R&B" so it's no surprise that he would be dissing Freestyle.

I just feel sorry for you people down in NY. That dude is so ann :bangbang ying.

It's not really a big deal, though. All types of celebrities and artists' get knocked on, not just Freestyle artists'. I think we are more sensitive to the fact that it's KTU, and they are dissing a well-known Freestyle artist such as Safire. You really think she gives a phuck what that Big-Lipped Bozo and that Lil' Troll said? Probably not.

She's done very well for herself, and I do like her Salsa album.
 
They just couldn't wait to try and tell a lame joke that had to do with Quicky Mart. He doesn't even know what he said. We can relate the message to Speedy when he's at the Copa! Let him know that ain't cool. :director :uzi :nono :shush
