I think that we need a forum where all the cf peeps could vent out their feelings about trax/albums that they think could be better (not bad), considering that lately in the FREESTYLE MUSIC FORUM a lot of peeps have posted their opinions but others have taken that into something really bad! its not bad - its actually a good thing! we should have a place where we could tell the artists what they need to add to their songs/albums or juss a place for our own opinions of the new stuff thazzz comin out - without them taking this sooooooo personally!!! 😛
 
that sounds like a good idea.. but i don't see how this will not get out of hand... :crap
 
Hmmmmm I dunno bout this idea! Seems that it would be the breeding ground for the haters. That's not something we need here on CF! 🙂
 
im not hating when i say i dont like a song...freestyle like any other music should be allowed to have critics...why not? i know it may be a handful to have such topic as a forum...but i can honestly say that it could help artists that are trying to come out with new stuff but are not sure wut to give to the fans. This way we can state our opinions honestly.🙂

cmon...tell me HONESTLY that u love absolutely EVERY FREESTYLE song? I don't. It may be the vocals, or the beat, or the lyrix, production, etc. why cant we state something like that considering we(fans) are not out to hate on artists & management, we're juss trying to make it better for the next tyme.

I also understand that every track that is created is usually 100% from the bottom of someone's heart - well, not every artist has had proper training in certain areas (writing for example)...our opinions would actually matter to them, since we're gonna be spending money on their material. so what happens when we buy the stuff and DONT like it? then they're gonna say that no matter wut they produce we dont appreciate - thats not true. We do appreciate their talent, their abilities, their love to give us freestyle music - but obviously there is something there that we dont like about the track. So in order for artists & fans to have a respectful relationship, why cant we state our HONEST opinions, suggestions, etc.???
 
im not saying that we should say: "oh i hate that song." im saying that we should KINDLY & RESPECTFULLY STATE WHY we dont like it. its not even the 'not liking'. sometimes there's just something missing (bass not loud enough)...there's always something, its hard to make a song that EVERYONE will like, but there's always a greater chance of producing a track that most peeps will appreciate among previous suggestions/ideas/comments! 😉
 
I understand what you're saying Vixen but in the past and I believe the track record will prove it :lol Some people don't know how to offer constructive criticism...they go right into bashing. :crap Which is ashame cuz like you said...maybe we could offer some good advice that would help the artists or whoever. 🙂

i completely agree that it will be handful to handle such a forum...but i hate looking at threads where absolutely everyone agrees that a song is great. id love to state my honest opinion about a song when i dont like it without getting warnings from mods or jack...so ya. i know that there will be some bashing....but i think it would help most upcoming artists as well as artists that are coming out with new stuff.
 
well ive learned that when saying something negative about a song or artist...honest opinion just be like i think or in my opinion the song it weak and just make it sound like that or something like it and no one should bother u about it cuz yeah its ur opinion and u are entitled to that
 
i agree to that... i would never say i hate a song...but rather would explain whats wrong with it nd all...but there have been threads where if u dont like an album; for example (it wuz explained why in generous wording) still it made the person who posted look like siit and made them look like they didnt appreciate freestyle music. I just think that if we had a place to explain ourselves in it wouldn't be so bad. 🙂
 
i agree with that but a lot of people are major supporters of certain artists and take things to heart...also over computers its hard to explain ur self cuz u cant show emotion/feeling...so people read things and interpret them differently
