Mike Lockwood, better known to wrestling fans
as Crash Holly and Mad Mikey passed away yesterday
afternoon. He was 34. Lockwood had been staying at
Stevie Richards' apartment in Tampa, Florida and was
pronounced dead at around 1 p.m. No further details are
available at this point.

WWE needs to be investigated. Too many of the good young wrestlers are dying.

4 weeks ago Hawk of The Road Worriors died.

What's going on??

Wow crash hadnt been working for the WWE for a while... He's been doing the TNA shows lately. HE was always an animated little wrestler but makes ya think he was at Stevie Richards house...... So far reports say they were partying and drinking heavily and that he died choking on his own vomit shortly after falling asleep. RIP Crash Holly / Mad Mikey or my favorite a vicous little Elroy Jetson

I doubt it DJ Soul. When a wrestler dies, It's usually because of drug usage.
Oh tru dat but Im just saying what the initial reports say. Look at stevie richards .....You think his dramatic body change after the right to censor angle had anything to do with Jarred and the subways diet NO and if he was jusing stackers then he was mainlining them cause damn that was quick change alright!

Mike "Crash Holly" Lockwood died from what authorities
think was an overdose, reports out of Florida suggest.
Lockwood's body was discovered on November 6 at the
home of Stevie Richards in Tampa. It will be several weeks
before investigators know what caused the death with
toxicology reports from an autopsy pending. Stevie Richards
was questioned by investigators on Friday but no foul play
is suspected.

A WWE star, who wished to remain anonymous,
told Wrestling 365 today: "We are deeply saddened at the
news of Mike's passing. It's difficult to put into words how
much we loved him and will miss him. The world has lost
a great talent and a kind and gentle soul." WWE paid tribute
to Lockwood on Saturday in the form of 10-bell salutes at
shows in Springfield, MA and Poughkeepsie, NY.

Family and friends turned out in droves to bid a final
farewell to Mike "Crash Holly" Lockwood, whose funeral
service was held Wednesday in North Carolina. Wrestlers
in attendance included: Matt and Jeff Hardy, Lita, Jamie
Noble, Stevie Richards and Shane Helms. Tajiri, Funaki,
Gail Kim, and Bill DeMott sent a large wreath of flowers on
behalf of the WWE crew. Unfortunately what was a solemn
wake was marred amid internal squabbling between
Lockwood's family. Someone at the funeral told Wrestling
365: "The police had to be called in because of all the loud
arguing and fighting -- it was pretty brutal." Lockwood died
on November 6 in Tampa at the home of Stevie Richards.
An investigation is now underway to determine the cause
of death. No foul play is suspected.
