I just bought this CD online. I wanted to know what everyone thinks of it if they have heard it or have it. I just started to hear it.

Its ok I think I have to keep listening to it to really like it.

Have had this album since it's release in 1996. I love it.
It's not Freestyle, but still a great 90's R&B, and Dance/House album. "Satisfy" & "Dim The Lights" are kool songs. Their remake of "Sukiyaki" is also good. I still don't understand why they didn't promote this album further. It definately had great commercial mid-90's R&B/Radio appeal.

But my favorite tracks would have to be the House tracks, "Keep Giving Me Love", & "Whenever You Need Me". (Awesome freakin' vocals man!!!) & Produced by non other, than my man, Tony Moran! 🙂

This was the last album up to date, & none of the original girls remained. The line up was: Michelle Valentine, Gayle, & Nikki Richards. Nikki is best known for her work as one of Madonna's primary back-up singers & dancers on her former tours, as well as a Dance/House artist who's done work with Jellybean, as well as other producers, & Freestyle projects. Awesome vocals. If you've ever seen "Madonna: Behind The Music", she's on there. 🙂

You should check out the remixes for "I Need Your Lovin" from the Satisfy album. It has a radio edit of Michelle's vocals, but it also has a Hip Hop & Club Mix that features Gayle Elis and the Amazing Evelyn Escalera! I personally like the remix versions better than the original CD version. The "I Am Woman" Remixes are also very good! The R&B Version is one of my Favs! 🙂

Thanks so much everyone!!! I am going to keep listening to it so it can grow on me. I guess I was expecting more of a freestyle feel. Thanks again I appreciate the feedback!!!

I agree with Danny!! But I can't wait till the new song comes out. A little birdie told me that they will be recording another brand new song in the coming weeks!!

I don't know maybe the Cover Girls should do a remake of Don't Stop Now!! My all time favorite Cover Girls song!! Gotta love the girls preforming that song with the "chaps" back in the day!!:bayum Okay, it's wishful thinking but still I'm putting it out there for the Freestyle Gods to listens to my pleas!!:1luv

I'm hoping that the next Cover Girls CD (whenever that would be) will have some serious FreeStyle music this time around.

With a lineup like Lorraine, Sabrina, and Evelyn leading the group, I will guarantee that The Covergirls next album will be one that all will enjoy. Don't worry Covergirl fans, it will happen!!!!!!

hey i have this cd as well. its alright. i do have to say "here it is" is my favorite cover girl cd. its been almost 10 yrs since the last cover girl cd. is there actually a cd in the works or are they just performing old songs at shows?

This is wierd, Like borderline eerie! I just bought "Satisfy" last week at a used record store here in Portland that I find all sorts of hind jems (12" of C-Bank last week too) and have been listening to the CD in my car over and over to figure out which songs to add...Its great lyricly, but the beats sound very mid-90's House (not a bad thing!) I was going to post on here a poll to find which tracks pwople liked the most and which were hits back in the day....Gemini saved me the trouble...QUICK what am I think of right now!!

Oh well, I guess I could find out what tracks people liked the most off Nayobe's "Promise Me" (which I also came across)
