Hello all fellow CF Mbrs.,

It was brought to my attention that the mix links I initially provided were bad and that a couple of them were redirecting people to my site's homepage. This was not my intention and I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion. They have since been corrected and you may now listen to them without any worry. Enjoy! -- Cbug

Cbugs Freestyle Memorial Mix - This mix is for the classic Heartthrob fan. It was mixed & recorded live on 2 decks with nothin' but vinyl! No edits & no bs...just straight continuous mixing. It's an 'old school' mix, therefore it's only right that it be created in that manner. Please feel free listen to it and if you like it, download it, burn it, share it, whatever! It's for one & all! Oh yeah.....
:lilsuzyLil Suzy closes out the mix!

I'll be making another 'old school' Freestyle mix soon. It'll have some very early stuff and songs that were pre-freestyle. And as always, it'll be live, no cds will be used...just vinyl. No Pro-tools or any other software, no edits or mega-mix style mixes. I'll be selling it on Ebay when it's done, but I will post it on here for free. Thanks for your words, it's what makes it worth it for me.

All the best and keep your eyes open for that upcoming mix!

Excellent Mixes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the propers Joe. Would you believe that I made those mixes with equipment that many consider 'primitive': 2 Technics turntables, a Realistic mixer from Radio Shack (1984 model), & a pair of Koss headphones (circa 84-85). If you're a dj you will be able to relate....if you're not, well any dj will tell you: That's some deep 'old school' sh:t right there. As old as that equipment is, it does what I need it to do and using this equipment secures whatever skills I've managed to hold on to all these yrs.

Thanks again brother. Your support is much appreciated.

God Bless,

Yo Dave, any nu sku mixes cummin up in the near future??
Yes, but unfortunately, they won't be Freestyle. I'm glad I never boxed myself into just one genre of music, I play all kinds of dance music, except for Reggaeton....no disrespect, I'm just not feeling that "music".

When I do make some nu sku mixes, i'll be sure to post them.....maybe some of the real Freestyle die-hards will be able to get into it.

I'm listening to it right now, I'm at Trinere - I'll Be All You Ever Need.
Brings back Studio 47 in San Jose, circa late 80's early 90's.
Good job!

I had the Radio Shack mixer, turntables, mic, and Mach 2 speakers. I can't remember the make of headphones, I just remember they were big (Panasonic, I think).
