I was listing the complete spin report on the station, in the future, I will only list the "Pure" freestyle songs (don't want to affend the die-hards) As far as the mix of music, I love freestyle as much as anyone, but when you have to fill 168 hours of programing without sounding stale, you have to "spice-up" the playlist, it increases TSL. I, as a Program Director, am more apt to add a new freestyle song to rotation than any other type of music, but if I am not getting any product to add, then I have to go with what we recieve. Never will I claim that our playlist is 100% freestyle, but I have close to 500 recurrents/gold in constant rotation (with new stuff being added as I uncover it) along with all the current freestyle. I also spend countless hours tracking down special remixes of current dance/club/crossover that fit the flow of the station (mainly breaks or bass versions of the tracks!) WELL I UNDERSTAND THAT. BUT CIARA, BLACK EYED PEAS, MISSY ELLIOTT, I MEAN LET'S FACE IT, THIS IS A FREESTYLE FORUM, AND I THINK WE SHOULD ALL WORK HARD TO KEEP IT THAT WAY...I MEAN WHEN WE START FILTERING IN ALL THE HIP HOP AND POP ARTISTS INTO THIS FORUM, WE START DOING WHAT RADIO DID BACK IN THE EARLY AND LATE 90'S, ALLOWING FREESTYLE MUSIC TO GET OVERWHELMED BY THIS GENRE(HIP HOP AND R&B). ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT WE NEED TO STICK TO "PLAIN" FREESTYLE MUSIC BECAUSE AFTER ALL THIS IS A FREESTYLE WEBSITE AND I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT A HIP HOP WEBSITE WOULD HAVE DJ'S LISTING FREESTYLE IN THEIR TOP TEN PICKS.
