Hey ya'll, I would really like everyone from clubfreestyle to participate in this one. Can you list for me a freestyle track back in the day that you felt honestly was well produced ? There were a ton of them. I don't mean tracks that had the planet rock sample in it. Take these factors into consideration and supply your comments.

Originality
Vocalization
Lyrics
Production (Intstrumentation & Drum Programming)
Editing
Mixes
Tightness of the Track

Without You---George LaMond...It has all the elements of an awesome freestyle song!

Randi (FreestyleGal)

"Highways of Love" - Johhny O
"Crying Over You" - Suave
"If You Want Me" - Suave
"It Must Be You" - Latin Rascals

Wow, there are a few good answers. But what about the 'true' freestyle music when it was called 'Club Music'. here are a few I think that are true wonders -

1) Babie & keyes - Playgirl - Great production, Vox Etc...
2) Jill - Match made up in Heaven
3) Dan hartman - Name of the Game
4) Noel - Silent Morning
5) I agree definetely on LA girls !!!!
6) Nadia - Come back to me
7) ABC - How to be a Millionaire
8) Secret Society - Find yourSelf a nother man
9) Monet - Give it to me
10) Latin Rascals - Life's too Short !!!

I could go on but I'll stop here.

Enjoy

Not to offend anyone, but aside from Coro, the other artists are freestyle from a different error. 3rd phase of freestyle I call this which is just after the MiC Mac Label Error.

tru freestyle should be from the 1986 - 88 error. Anything after that Is 2nd phase.

What about tracks like Nayobe - good things come to those who wait
Moskwa TV - Generator 7/8
Leather & Lace - Tender heart
John Rocca - I want to be real

what is that song called "You aint really Down"?

The Secret Society song was in deed entitled "Find Yourself", nothing to do with another man....lol

It went:

Find yourself I know you can
Let me help and take my hand

Find Yourself was a song about a person battling a drug addiction.

Some of my favorites were.

Information Society - Running
C-Bank - One more shot
Noel - Silent Morning
Nancy Martinez - For Tonight
Uptown - Im losing You
George Lamonds - Bad Of The Heart
Sly Fox - Como tu te llamas
GT - I Need You
Voice In Fashion - Only in the night
B.S.O - Wannabe starting something (start it with a kiss)
Will to power - I'm Dreaming

And if I had to pick a slow song done by a freestyle artist,I'd have to go with "Too Blind To See" by Secret Society
