Hey all, this may not fit in the section but I will include it since the reason I am posting it is because of my "Freestyle Mix" of a song.

A buddy of mine has a remix service called Method Mix

he is on issue #5 now and I mixed a song for him to put on this issue. The song is called Hotline by Ciara

the song in its original album version was just a dance song but I put a 1, 2 step loop and samples of black eyed peas and turned it into a "freestyle mix"

its BPM's are 122.5................typical freestyle range......

anyone else listen to the track? curious to how anyone liked my mix as compared to the orignal album version
 
its not a freestlye song in its original form, i made it sound more freestylish with the mix

I woudn't even call it more freestylish....If you take a gospel song and give it a 1,2 step then it would be a remixed gospel song and not more "freestylish sounding".Again its a decent mix of a r&b song with a 1,2 step beat.
 
I love the song, especially the BEP intro....it's defintely got that freestyle touch to it...I luv that beat!
