I ran after Mary not being able to find her. Searching every other room I could find. Daylight was coming soon, so many of the chambers would be locked. As I make my way toward the back, I realize the door leading to the backyard was open.
(Mary sitting in a chair facing the rising son)
Rocker: Mary? Are you alright?
Mary: (wiping tears) Yes, I am fine.
Rocker: Why do you cry then?
Mary: Sometimes I do.
Rocker: Please tell me, it breaks my heart seeing you this way.
Mary: I'm sorry I can't
(Mary runs away toward the gates, Rocker flies over and tries to catch her)
Mary: NO!! PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!! I JUST WANT TO BE ALONE!!
Rocker: Why my love, what is wrong?
Mary: DON'T CALL ME THAT!!
Rocker: Please, tell me what is wrong??!!!
Mary looks into his eyes and sees the tears swell up. She sees the nervous look of a man who fears he has lost his love, again.
Mary: I....I overheard...
(The sun rises)
At that moment I felt a pain on my skin, a pain I have never felt. My blood was boiling inside.
Mary: Diego what is wrong?
Rocker: (heading toward the coven entrance) I don't know. My skin is burning.
As I was halfway to the door, It happened. I burst into flames.
Rocker: (screaming) AGH!!!!!!AGH!!!!!
Mary: OH MY GOD!!! RUN INTO THE HOUSE!!! RUN INTO THE HOUSE!!!
At that moment Lord Dhuckc who had arrived saw the burning Rocker and used his magic to save him.
Lord Dhuckc: Karmen kalas, helio uminus, forta het
A cold wind surrounded me, then I felt an awful cool, my skin was falling off. Then I felt a cold pressure holding me tight. I was being encased in a block of ice.
Lord Dhuckc: (walking over to ice block) This should keep him from suffering any further harm. However, we must get him inside, the ice will melt soon. Quickly Mary, get me that rope in the shed.
Mary was just standing there, horrified. She could not believe she saw the man she loves burst into flames. There he was, this burnt body sealed in ice.
Lord Dhuckc: MARY!!!! MARY SNAP OUT OF IT!!!
Mary: (shaking) He was going to die, because of me. He ran out here and further onto the grounds and away from the door because of me.
Lord Dhuckc: Mary please. Do not blame yourself. You could not have known this would have happened. Please, you must help me get him inside, he won't last for long.
Mary finally snaps back into life and runs to the shed. She brings out a thick rope and ties it around the giant ice block. Lord Dhuckc then chants a spell and the rope takes life. The rope then begins dragging the ice block slowly into the house. The block makes it way into a holding chamber away from the light. Mary seals the door and heads inside.
Lord Dhuckc: We must wait for Faruk Assad to arise. He will heal him. Until then you may stay hear and keep him company until the ice melts.
Mary: Is he alive?
Lord Dhuckc: Yes, barely.
As Lord Dhuckc leaves Mary falls to her knees sobbing by the block.
Mary: I'm sorry Diego. I am soooo sorry. I never met to hurt you. I love you sooo much. I am sooo sorry.
As she wept there , a coffin laid open. A head slightly crept out. Lady Jade heard the commotion and was listening in. Hearing Marys cries for Rocker. Lady Jade was not moved.
Lady Jade: Cry all you want. He is and will always be mine.
( Her coffin closes)

As day becomes night, I come back from the dead. Death, seems so close now, and yet still so far away. Yet the only reason I have worth living I may be killing, inside.
Nyasia: Well I hope you feel better than you look.
I realize that the condition of my body must be horrid. I hide my face with my charred hands.
Angela: It's okay. She isn't here.
8th Sin: What happened?
Rocker: The potion Lord Sarus gave me must have worn off.
(Lady Jady walks in with Faruk Assad)
Lady Jade: How are you doing Lord Rocker?
Nyasia: Lord Rocker?
Angela: Huh?
Lady Jade: He was made Overlord by the ruling council. He is the next in line.
8th Sin seems upset with this. He was always told he would be the next Overlord. He has prepared himself for that day. Seeing a burnt Rocker on the table before him, a capitive Rocker not too long ago, and a slave to a humans heart does not allow 8th to accept that Rocker should be Overlord over the General of the Vampire Army.
8th Sin: Excuse me.
Nyasia senses that 8th Sin is not well. She follows him. Lady Jade then sits at the corner of Rockers bed.
Lady Jade: So, tell me. Whose our human guest.
Angela: (jokingly) Mary, Rockers girlfriend.
Lady Jade: Really. Lord Rocker, is this true?
Rocker: Does it matter?
Lady Jade: An Overlord of the Ruling Body cannot and should not be romantically involved with a human partner.
Rocker: We will se about that.
Faruk Assad: Please, Lord Rocker must rest. He will need his strengh to recover.
Lady Jade: Very well. Rest well my Lord.
(Leans over and kisses his forehead)
As they leave the room Faruk Assad connects IV's into Rockers arms , filling him with blood.
Rocker: Where is Mary?
Faruk: Resting. We had to sedate her. She was rather upset.
Rocker: It is all my fault.
Faruk: The only thing you need to blame yourself for is not taking better care of the shell you call your body. You need to becareful. There might not be a next time.
Rocker: (sighs) Might not be a next time. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it.

General Thompson enters the hanger with his Joint Chiefs. They stand before a giant hulk of a machine. Once again, the General is pleased.
General Thompson: Gentlemen. This here is our secret weapon. The T-878 Model Vampire Hunter. We call it, the "Fallen Angel".
Admiral Fandino: Why is it called Fallen Angel?
General Thompson: Doctor Sams, please open the shell.
As a doctor opens the shell of the attack unit, it reveals organs and other body parts. Then he opens a slide over the head and reveals a jaw and Vampire fangs.
General Thompson: This unit is a cyborg. A Vampire Cyborg.
Admiral Burnside: Why is that General? Are we using the enemy to catch the enemy?
The Admiral closes the hanger and all sunlight coming in. Then he orders a room to open, in the room are three Vampires locked in chains. He orders the chains released and the Vampires set free. As he does that the Vampires quickly fly into the air . As the rest of the Joint Chiefs run for cover General Thompson simply activates the unit.
General Thompson: Attack!
The unit flies in the air and goes for the Vampires. Two Vampires fly at the unit which fires silver laced bullets destroying them. The other Vampire tries to outrun the Fallen Angel in the air. The cyborg killer quickly slams the Vampire to a wall and lands the Vampire on the ground. Then the Vampire opens it's slide helmet.
General Thompson: This is my favorite part.
The Cyborg lifts the vampire in the air and sinks it's fangs into his body. Then with such force the Cyborg sucks every drop of Blood the Vampire had. Then it crushes whats left.
Admiral Fandino: (puking) I can't see anymore.
Admiral Burnside: I think I am going to be sick.
The General simply walks over to his Killer and orders it to stand down.
General Thompson: Good work! Good work!

Nyasia: You want to tell me what's wrong with you?
8th Sin: What makes you think something is wrong?
Nyasia: I am not a fool, I can sense it. You are bothered about Rocker being made Overlord and you were passed.
8th Sin: Wouldn't you?

8th Sin: (putting glass down) Well, yes. I felt that title should have been mine. I am the General of the ENTIRE Vampire Army. I led when he was captured by the humans. I am not the one who lays in a bed burnt. I'm not the one whose heart belongs to a HUMAN!!!!!!!!
(throws glass against wall)
Nyasia: 8th, please calm down.
8th Sin: I AM MORE POWERFUL THAN HIM, I SHOULD LEAD!!!!! I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH THE ENEMY!!! LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE!!! LOOK AT HOW MUCH WE HAVE SACRIFICED!!! FOR WHAT? FOR THE LOVE OF A HUMAN!! MY FATHER WAS RIGHT, THEY WON'T END UNTIL WE ARE ALL DESTROYED!!! WE NEED A STRONG OVERLORD, NOT SOMEONE WHOSE HEART BELONGS TO THE ENEMY!!!

8th Sin: We won't expire. This world will be mine.
As 8th Sin feasts on Nyasia's body I was suprised when I got a visitor, Mary.

(Mary runs to Rocker, hugging him)

(Jade sends a chilling look at Mary and walks away. Clearly upset.)

Mary: What can I do to make this work?
(Hold Mary tight)
