*The scene in the living room is meyham. Our four heroes have destroyed all of the extra "dark angels" summoned by their new leader. Bodies are everywhere. Evil Antonio is standing in front of Carlos, Rico, Marisol, & X-Man. They glance outside and see the havoc that Evil Antonio is creating!*
(Rico) "This is madness! We stand here and do nothing, while this monster threatens innocent lives???"
(Carlos) "Antonio is innocent too! I can hear the good in him crying out for help!"
(X-Man) "Amigo, I think you are the only one!"
(Rico) "Innocent or not, the good of many outweigh the good of one. Attack!"
*Rico has almost become full wolf, and lunges, Marisol runs behind him, ready to use her new telekenisis power. X-Man follows, carrying explosives, and Carlos is last, hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.*
(Evil Antonio) "Fools!!!!"
*Evil Antonio waves his arm, and a shock-wave of energy is released. The four heroes are thrown against the wall where they land in a heap. Before they can get up, they look to see Antonio, advancing towards them.*
(Evil Antonio) "Did you all think you could even slow me down? You dare to presume that you will stop me? Don't make me laugh. I have not even completed my third step, and I'm more powerful than you all. I will be taking my leave of this place, and wait until my child is born. Then, I will hunt down and kill Taina, and become a full Dark Angel. My son will come with me, and rule by my side. I've planned this all out, and left nothing to chance! I have overlooked nothing. I..........uhh!"
*The group of people are now at their feet. They stare at Antonio, who has a very surprised look on his face. A cross between confusion and pain. He looks down and sees a point sticking out from his heart, and his shirt is starting to turn red from blood. Coming out from behind him is something that Evil Antonio did overlook.....Angelique. In his destruction and ranting and raving, he never saw her grab one of Carlos' arrows, with the consecrated host on the tip. He never heard her sneak up from behind. Didnt' sense her presence as she raised her arms and thrust the arrow with all her strength, through his back and through his heart. Evil Antonio falls to his knees, shakes, and falls down on his back to the ground. Angelique approaches Carlos.*
(Angelique) "I'm soooo sorry Carlos. I thought it was very admirable that you wanted to see the good in Antonio, but it was buried too deep, and too many people were at risk to let him live. I know you wanted him back, but I don't believe it was possible to ever see him again."
*The group approaches Evil Antonio, who is quickly dying. As they look at him, his features soften. A weak smile appears on his face. It is the Antonio that they knew before.....before the madness. Before everything.*
(Antonio-whispering) "Carlos........."
(Carlos) "I'm here. What is it?"
*Antonio reaches up and grabs Carlos' shoulder and looks at him with a smile.*
(Antonio-whispering) "Thank you.....for trying!"
*With that, Antonio dies. There is a flash of light, and he is gone. Angelique, who was too tired from saving Javiar, has no energy left to save Antonio. Carlos begins to cry, and Javiar comes to him and holds him. Everyone else looks out the window to see the amount of work and explaining to do, and is very surprised. Without the Dark Angel's energy to sustain them, all the evil work he was doing is undone. All the statues and figures bought to life are once again inanimate. The wounds they inflicted on people are healed. In fact, people's memories of the events are erased, and no one, with the exception of the people closest to the action remember what exactly happened. The victims no longer remember why they are running, and the police no longer remember who they are chasing. The massacres along the way suddenly become "unexplained mysteries" that in telling will turn into urban legends. Later that evening, the group sits at the kitchen table.*
(X-man) "So...what happens now?"
(Angelique) "Your identity is safe for now X-Man. I destroyed all evidence of your little "adventures".
(X-Man) "I appreciate that."
(Taina) "I'd like to think that you'll be staying here awhile. You've got two daughters to get to know, as well as a grandchild in the near future."
(X-man) "I can't speak of what the future holds, but it may be nice to stay here for a while."
(Marisol) "And I would like to figure out the extent of our powers."
(Angelique) "All in good time. I will be spending time with you. You both must be trained to take over your mother's work."
(Marisol) "What kind of work?"
(Angelique) "That is best saved for another day. Between me and Carlos, we should be able to fill you in on the story."
(Marisol) "Another day, well, that allows me some time to see Rudolpho in the hospital. I have some loose ends to tie up there. I've gotten him a pair of leg warmers to wear.
(Carlos) "I can't speak for anyone else, but this experience has taught me that I don't want to be dancing as Chiquita anymore. I need more for me than that. I also don't want to be alone anymore, so Javair, will you be my husband?"
(Javiar) "Yes! Papi, I love you." *Leans in and kisses Carlos*
(Rico-in human form again) "I also don't want to spend my life alone. Taina, do you love me?"
(Taina) "I need time Rico. So much has happened now. I need to learn of Mama, and my father, and my powers, and become self-reliant. I do know that I feel better when your around. Let's wait awhile, and take it day by day."
(Rico) "Well, I know I love you, and if being around makes you happy, you know I'll be around, every day! I would wait forever for you."
(X-man) "So to answer my own question, I guess we just go on living."
*And above them all, Antonio & Teresa look down, and smile!*
