I remember seeing Giggles performing on Main Street, Queens at a place called 'Dance Charisma' WOW, I was just a youngin then.

Can anyone else send me back?

I'm from Queens but I don't remember 'Dance Charisma'. I remember buying some of my records at a booth in 'Busy Bee' on Main street.

I do remember Avanti.

I went to Emerald City a few times. I think I saw Nayobe perform there once.

How about the awesome club The Palladium, 1018/Roxy, Hearthrobs, Danceteria The Ritz, Red Zone These were all great in the day. Boy the late night early in the morning munchies come to mind .....lol

Back In the Dayz

Remeber seeing Stevie B and Samantha Fox at this place called Rocky Point .... took my girl there ..we had a great time.

Saw Company B. in a cheesey dive of a place in Hull Ma., I had to have been maybe 13, and it was still the original line-up.
A better memory I have is; a friend of mine from Kew Gardens was best friends with Bernadette Suarez (Monet), and we saw her perform in Queens at this small place. I think it might have been her first performance, but I was amazed by her voice. I have always enjoyed my own voice, but after hearing her, I thought twice about wanting to call myself a singer. I am just amazed that she is not known world wide, I wish she had gone further with her singing; she really was that great.
