Bachata is a genre much like freestyle it comes from the Dominican Republic. To me it's much like freestyle because Bachata sings about love, lost loves and CoOl_AL_FrM_qNs is right it makes us women wet. :lol

Again Bachata has a lot of similarity to freestyle.
 
GI not weird at all lol I am PR&DR Naya as pure PR and she loves her Bachata I perfer it over Salsa and meregue 😀

I here ya, I know it's not weird if you live in the States, it's weird if you live in the Island of Puerto Rico. I've been labeled as Dominicana (I don't mind, my hubby's DR and I love it) by everyone down here in Puerto Rico, just because I love Bachata.:yeey

Down here everyone loves Salsa and Merengue (even though merengue is DR) most Puerto Ricans I know about don't like bachata as much as in the States. I'm talking about PR islanders. Even though everybody dances to it. Bachata here is getting a lot of radio promo--more than merengue though.

Still I love it, like I :hpound freestyle!!!!!

Thanks for giving Aim the general translation. I'm not on the island, and if i was it probably would be weird me liking bachata. Over here in NYC it's the norm. I dance more bachata and merengue than i do salsa, and i'm all puerto rican. I can't dance salsa to save my life, i like listening to it though. lol

I'm glad everyone liked the song, da shiat really is off the hook.
