This is a never ending problem. Obviously, if it is 12am, the am represents morning. However, the time is called midNIGHT, meaning it's the middle of the night.

this debate could rage on and on. Is it night? Is it morning? Is it the late shift? Is it the early shift?

Lets just call it the "graveyard" shift and move on.
