Hello - Is this the same Corina that sang the song "constant craving"? If this is you, I must say that you are the best! - let me explain - when "summertime summertime" came out, I couldn't believe it. I must say that was the best rhythm, sound, and style I've ever heard and so far nothing has come close to it. Alexis had an entire album of so close to perfect songs, but nothing has compared to "summertime summertime" and even up to this day I still play it as if were in regular rotation - I don't know why this song never became as popular as it should have. I remember the days I used to search for this single and had everyone at school listening to see what I liked so much on the radio during mix shows in Atlanta. I came to Arizona and had stations wondering why they got so many requests. I wont even start to get into it about this song because I've filled up forums here and with -freestyleremix.com- about this song (make sure you check out freestyleremix.com!) If this is the real Corina with "Es Verano", you really need to make an entire album because it would be far better than anyone else could do. People have tried to imitate your style with songs like "only love" and "runaway" - (I think you know what I'm talking about) so of course I like those songs too. Maybe you were expecting me to put those people down and say they would never compare to your "summertime", but if they tried to imitate that style, I must say they are also good because anything that sounds similar must be good. People may be wondering why I'm giving this single so much credit but as for me, that was the perfect sound I've always been waiting to hear and wanting to hear. I wont even get into the history of when and where I was when I first heard that song and how I waited every moment when I knew it would be played again during a mix show. No other song has ever come close to that so far.
 
-By the way, another person that should've made an album is Inoj. She made some good songs. She was becoming successful and was about to put out an album... and didn't! I couldn't believe it when I showed up to the store on the release day they've been telling me about and heard it got pushed back. I kept asking all stores in hope that someday it would have been released only to find out for years to come it will only say "release date pushed back" or "not in system". I don't know why she didn't just go ahead and release her album - it would've done very well. She had more hits than the ghosttown dj's ever had.

I'm sorry not to mention anything about Spookie. I didn't know because I didn't read anything, when I saw your name I didn't look at anything else - just wanted to write and tell you how wonderful you are. I wish the best of luck to all and hope things get better. If I were sick the first day I heard "summertime summertime" I probably wouldn't be alive today because that would've been too much for me to handle.
 
hey Corina.... ur pm's are disabled so I'll mention this here..... back around the time when "Temptation" came out I was producing a group called Uptown (I Know I'm losin U being their only notable hit) anyway I was recording this girl named Ebony Diaz..... during the session she said to me "Matt check this out" and she played me a cassette which was her singing the demo of "Temptation"!!!!!!!! it was kinda slowed down like a Joyce Simms kinda beat.... it was so cool!!!!!!! Anyway just curious if u know Ebony or if u have any idea what in the world I'm babbling about!!!!!!!!!!! :lol

Wow!!!!! I am real late posting here. Don't know how I missed this one.

Anyway, it's wonderful to have corina here on CF and part of the family. It's just unfortunate that you are going through hurt and painful moments right now. I wish your friend the best and hope he recovers soon. It's totally understanding why you didn't perform and things do happen.
