Hey Baby... It was the last freestyle song that got played on Hot 97. It was on for a bit in the fall (I think) and winter of 92. I remember hearing it on the way to work for the 1st time. It was also evident then that this was the end of freestyle on the radio (at least on Hot 97).

I swear it was like the curtain was coming down on something special (when Hot 97 switched formats). No more Hot Night New York, or Summer Concerts at Seaside Heights.
 
Yup i remember Hot night, Hot or Not :lol i miss so much freestyle on the radio... that was the best!!!
