Im sure by now most of you have heard about Cory Clark being let go from American Idol after neglecting to tell the producers about his arrest for allegedly beating up his sister and then resisting arrest. I feel really bad for the producers of the show...they try to do something legit and find the next big star and then they have to deal with all this nonsense. And here they raised the number of finalists from 10-12 this yr only to have to get rid of 1. If Cory had fessed up to this sooner, 1 of the finalists that was previously eliminated might have still be in the competition, like Charles Grigsby, who I really liked. I think they are going to have to induct a much tougher screening process next time around..maybe use polygraphs lol

Yeah that's messed up maybe if he would've fessed up he would not have to go through this( having everyone know his business) I wonder how his sister feels??poor guy and I kinda like him too!
is there going to be a next time?? I heard that Paula and Simon are not coming back for next season..but that's just what I heard...
 
I hope Simon and Paula are back next year. I never watched one show last year, but this time around, I figured what the heck.... Simon had me rolling on the floor when he would tell them they were horrible (at the beginning, like that guy who sang Madonna's Like a Virgin).

Anyway, it is a shame because he took the place of someone else that did have a clean record.

Did you hear that Trenyce (however you spell that) has a past too?

I didn't catch any of the story... I just heard that part and that was it.

Is it true?
 
Trenyce was busted for shoplifting about a year ago.
 
Some say the only record Trenyce had was a speeding ticket. Well, whatever it was, it wasnt something bad enough to have her removed from the show. The only thing she is guilty of is singing Whitney Houston songs almost every week lol As for Cory, I dont think he had a great voice and I highly doubt he would have won the competition...not with Ruben and Clay who are so much better.

i agree with chalu..someone else could've had a turn and that's why tonight they did not eliminate anyone.
