I'm not lil reeses, she told me today that I should do the same with soda. I'm gonna try to give it up too. I am so happy, I have been after her for as long as I can remember.
 
yup its tough..i think my mom is a lost case tho. Well i think you should try to give up on soda or at least balance it with other healthiER drinks. You'll b pleasing ur mommy and it will be good for you too

Yeah thats what im hoping too Ant. Apparently she is attending group meeting @ Woodhull Hosipital for it. I am so proud of her. With the day that I've been having this bit of news have def made my day.

That's so great to hear. Smoking's one of the things that helped kill my Dad. You have every reason to be proud. My 2 brother's had a deal going- one would stop smoking if the other would stop biting his nails. They both kicked those bad habits, but the ex- smoking one moved onto drinking and cocaine and pills. Lost his house, his wife, and his business and the respect of many. After almost losing his life cause of various organs failing, he's finally clean. Anyway, congrats and your a wonderful daughter to be so proud of your mom.
 
wow LMG good to hear that. i hope i NEVER like the taste of cigarretes in my mouth.. wouldn't wanna hafta experience being addicted

Well the important thing is you brother is still alive and clean Dianita (did i ever tell you that is my moms nick name for me). I am so happy right now.

I have never like the smell of cigarettes. Also thats what killed my aunt, which is one of the reason I am so happy my mom stop. i want her here for a very long time.

Thank god she found the will power to do it. My father did the same thing like 3 yrs ago and still hasn't touched a cigarette. So it can be done. Props to your mom. :cheers
