I happened to have Bad Boy Joe's 2nd CD in geography class when the teacher asked if anyone had CDs that he could play during class. So i volunteered, and you should have heard the class's reviews. 1 guy(who brought in green day) didn't even want to have the CD put in. "This sounds like freak music!" during Maria, and everyone else wanted it off. then this one guy started this dumb chicken dance during I'll be loving you and I was ready to throw him out the window. Geez, how closed-minded can people get? :crap

Freestyle is not for everyone.
Most of the people who dont like
freestyle are really like prudes.
They have no soul - no style.

It's takes a real person to appreciate freestyle.
One thats down to earth and one with love for life.

Your right, those are some close minded people. I cant believe that out of your whole class no one besides you likes freestyle. Its a shame because they dont know what they are missing.

I do like Green Day though LoL 😛

wait greenday doesn't talk about that trash guido!:rasta some of their songs are good. But the album this guy brought in... all the songs were about 2 minuties long and sounded exactly the same.
and nessava i also kinda like greenday, but it takes skill to juggle freestyle and rock. 😛

Kenny is right on that one you never hear about a club getting shut down because of fights drugs etc when freestyle is there but when you get a rap concert then a week later they gotta close the clubs it ls like that here in philly so many clubs are not open anymore thanks to shootings drugs etc

like chris rock said in his movie grand opening grand closeing.

wow

Hey Tran Man; Did you ask these "Students" what type of music they listened to? Maybe you could have listened to their music and done the same...j/k

HOWEVER, I went dancing this weekend and I saw all types of nationalities, and level of weight..lol.. dancing to freestyle at the club. And a couple could not dance, but they looked like they were having fun.

So, it's their loss!!!!!!😉 😀 :blah

hell yes, a lot of them listen to rock tho. But if they pumped their greenday or sum 41, I wouldn't complain and say turn it off! they're just being inconsiderate. oh well, I thank the quiet ones sitting at the front for keeping their thoughts in, whatever they be.

joedocpa there are fights in all kinds of clubs, especially at freestyle parties. i remember i took my friends to ktu's freestyle factory and they couldn't believe that there were so many fights and on both nights! i remember girls on the floor, pulling each others hair LOL. that was so funny cuz they were going at it on the bar.
then some guy got a bottle smashed over his head...you should have seen all the blood. and this goes back to when freestyle was big in the 80's...at almost all the power 96 freestyle shows there would always be huge gang fights. i remember ducking the flying beer bottles while watching brenda k starr at the calle ocho power show in 1988 LOL, or the gang riot at tropical park in 1988 where cynthia, johnny o and voice in fashion were schedule to appear. there was gun shots and blood everywhere, or the cb smith park mtv show with corina, tony moran, laura enea, nas-t boyz in 92 with a huge fan that began when corina was performing. she was pissed cuz noone was watching the show, everyone was running for their lifes LOLOL...you think i left, hell no! not without getting to meet my favorite freestyle artist thAt day LOL.

PEACE
M A R L O N

oops i made a mistake on the post above, instead of "with a huge fan that began"
i meant to say= "with a HUGE fight that began when corina was performing"....

People would rather hear about drugs, sex, money, hoes, etc etc...it's just the way it is. As long as you apprecaite it, who cares what anyone else thinks. If I was the only person in the world who liked freestyle, that wouldn't change my thoughts or feelings on the music. In other words, I wouldn't care less what our society as a whole thinks about freestyle!

ANYBODY EVER REMEBER WHAT HAPPENED AT NASSAU COLISEUM IN 88? IT WAS CALLED "RAP JAM" and there were tons of fights, robberies and mayhem in the parking lot as well at the arena. ever since then, rap shows were heavily policed. a year later, a huge freestyle show where NOT ONE PERSON was harmed. The police were not needed, either. I had a great time!!

No suprise there....you have 2 entirely different messages. One of LOVE...the other of drugs, sex, violence, hoes, etc etc....yet so many people love it....how sad and pathetic. 🙄

why are they close minded? most teenagers cant think for themselves. if the popular kid thought it sucked, then most others would too. not all kids are like u tran man.
🙂

Kenny i went to the one at hunka bunka both nights, it was crazy up in there, but i still had the best time! especially thursday night...
peace

Green Day, lmao

Damn, I would have have understood if your CD featured new stuff, but Bad Boy Joe uses the Freestyle classics...It just goes to show that today's youth has no taste in good music...

Do you want to bring me to your classroom so I can give your classmates a PFC beatdown??? lol

talking about fights and bad crouds

back in the 80's when HOT105 was the hit station here in Miami..they had 4th of July concerts all the time...

One time on South Beach we were listening to some f/s performer and all of a sudden wooooooo a bottle flies by my right ear and hits the girl in front of me in the back of her had...i ducked,,( a bit late) but then a huge fight broke out.

the concert stopped and me and my friends picked up our stuff and left the beach.

Another incident happened at Calle 8...same thing..flying bottles....that's why i dont go any more to that event.

So, it's no matter what artist, style of music is on...it's the BAD CROWD THAT SPOILS THE FUN!!!
