I also had never heard of her until she passed. But because of how much her death was covered on the news, you felt like you really got to know alot about her and what kind of person she was. Of course, I have seen that Selena movie about twenty times, in fact I was just watching it Monday night on cable. She seemed like a regular, down to earth person, someone anyone would have loved to have as a friend, yet when she was performing, she was the epitomy of what you think of when you think of a "star". One thing I remember about her is her beautiful smile, and how it lit up her whole face. It is so sad that the life of such a special person was cut so short and that so many of her dreams were unrealized.

She was a beautiful person and it showed in her shows, interviews....Now, what I do want to know is that is her husband: Chris....has he remarried?? or not? the reason why I ask is b/c I was watching a tribute to her on channel 41 here and had the ''Dinos'' reunite and share their memories and Chris had on a wedding band. Just wondering...looks like he still has a hard time which, of course, is understandable.....Wish time can rewind to change things.

If I'm not mistaken Chris Perez has remarried. It was probably his current marriages ring but being from Texas you gotta know I love Selena.
