wow im sure the monaco man would appreciate the compliment from Jack 🙂 but it truly is amazing wut monaco and 103 do for freestyle and dance artists
 
yup yup its the only station i listen to cuz its the only station in the gta 🙂 lol
 
It is the only station worth listening to in the GTA. I need my Dance/Euro/Freestyle fill and they're the only ones that provide that!
 
plus they play some hip hop rock so u get ur fix and songs dont really get played out
 
Civic you hit it on the head.... they don't OVERDUE it w/ the same songs over & over. & they do mix in a little pop & r&b.. which is nice.
Here it's the opposite...it's ALL commerical...it's ALL repetituve & once in a while they throw us a bone & we hear the SAME freestyle...& almost NO Euro, which is awesome in itself...

already signed up to Tony's sight. he actually took the time to respond to a few of my emails this morning.. wanted tok now how I found out about Zoe & her music..etc...

Myself and A few other members (will go unmentioned) have had quite a few interesting discussions over whats goin on over @ Z103.5.

We'll give credit where credit is due. The on-air personalities have experience and can handle their own. BUT, (if you remember my rants from previous forums) credit is given where credit is earned.

By this I mean:

Take a listen to the "morning mixes" by Dj Danny D,
also when it comes time for the "way-back-play-back mix" on Wednesday morning.

Seems that Danny has been "borrowing" other mixes and claiming them as his own, when there are a few members on CF that actually have these mixes from Dj's across NY/Miami/Texas etc. Hmmmm coincidence?

If this is actually a live performance in the morning, how come it EXACTLY sounds the same in the "drive @ 5 mix"? if he is spinning live? Hmmmmm coincidence? Listen in the am & pm and see if you can tell the difference.

Danny's "scratching" technique is uniquivicably the same, the "forward-reverse" scratch or the "spina-roonie" as it is common to hear on a thursday night Berling show. Danny somehow has mastered the art of scratching exactly like DJ Payback Garcia and other Miami and New York based dj's. Scratches and cut's that probably never happen live in front of an audience. Lets ask Z to perform a similar mix on air or in front of the Berlin or Cherry Room audience.

If Z103.5 can afford to give "away" 40 some-odd trips, and fancy cars, why don't they set up a live "web-cam" and see Mr.Dj Danny D perform a live set to proove that his mixes are actually his!

Woah, odd, I don't recall speaking about Danny or any mixes, just about their 'regular' music rotation. If Danny is stealing other's mixes and calling them his own, well then he's a punk, but if not, you may owe him and the station an apology Spyboy. Maybe I should ask my sis if she knows, she was his classmate back @ UofT. 😀
 
hahaha you must be $hitting us... 103 sucks large now (and to some extent it always has).. Party 93.1 in Miami is waaaaay better, no hip hop nor rock nor celine dion nor shania twain nor avril nor shawn desmonde,etc.... hell, even Chicago has a dance station where you can hear SOME new house

I can't wait to get my DAB radio, then it'll be ID & T all day 😀
 
I dunno, I think we get some great music, albeit a tad slow. But we get great Vocal Trance on the live to airs.
 
carlita....103 is great! we would alllllll love to have juss a station that play the gino beats allllll day long, but that's not exactly in the mainstream and isn't something to make $$$ out of, so it'll never happen! 🙁
 
Hey man who cares if it's his mixes or not, i couldn't care less, i love the music on Z103 and that's the bottom line.. most of us listen to Z103 for the great music, not too "investigate"
every mix or song they play! if it sounds good, play it! simple as that.. who cares who's mix it is or whatever, the bottom line is that they play GREAT music regardless and it is the best station in the T DOT!!
 
yeah i agree with portu and others they do play amazing songs and i like the fact they promote out canadian dance artists

My only point was that I LIKE the music on Z.
AND it's a beter station than anything they are playing here in NYC.
there are 2 REALLY godd dance stations in the NYC area. They are Long Island based 106.1 BLI & 105.3 problem is.. the stations are NOT powerful enough to reach the city or further north.. so once in a while you get a steady signal...

I als agree Party 93.5 is off the hook!
