I lay at night thinking about
Things said and done
Wishing we could be together
and
Hoping you'll be someplace
where your heart doesn't
belong
Why are we together,but
our souls are so
far apart?
But what lies in mine is
not found within your
heart.
Why do I invite the heartbreak
and pain
Tears so heavy, it camouflage
with rain
As silet tears from silet memories
reoccur,
My mind is selfish, I want you to be mine
and for you to see, but I'm wrong for
these thoughts because
Your heart doesn't belong to me.


This isn't one of my poems. It's my friends. I told her a title and she thought of the poem. I liked it so much that i had to share it with all of you guys to see what you thought.

Yeah she does have a broken heart. The one she loved got engaged to somebody else. Felt really bad for her, but I'm there for her and I try to make her feel better. I'll let her know that you guys liked her poem.
