OK OK HOW ABOUT THE PART IN SCARS of LOVE by TKA < U KNOW WHICH PART >
SOUNDS SIMILAR DOESN'T IT🙂
SO DON'T SAY IT'S NOT FREESTYLE AT ALL
IT'S OVERALL SOUND & STYLE ARE AT THE VERY LEAST THE BEGINNING of FREESTYLE itSELF.:cool

IF YOU WERE TO SPEED UP THE TEMPO ON YO LITTLE BROTHER TO MIX WITH A FREESTYLE TRACK, PEEPS WOULD THINK YOU MESSED UP ON THE MIXXX.
THAT ALONE SOLVES THIS DEBATE

Just listen to the style of rap that Nolan is utilizing. It aint freestyle!!!

since when does FREESTYLE talk about someone's little brother hanging out with the wrong crowd and gettin his ass wooped by his mother and father? NEVER YO! 🙂

This is crazy

Yo Little Brother may or may not be 100% definition freestyle but it all came at the same time it was all part of what made the era. I am 33 years old and I remember going to the local firehouse in central jersey to see Nolan Thomas perform the song and then going a few weeks later to see Strafe perform Set it off. I was in like the 10th grade. They played AEIOU and Play at your own risk and Planet Rock etc. It all just kept going from there the hot freestyle the latin nights at local teen clubs. TKA, Judy Torres, George Lamond. The the summers at the Jersey shore. Should I go on. We are all debating about this why we obviously all come from the same era, all listened to the song, all remember specific things about those years. Why cause we all love freestyle and still do. If someone requested it who listens to freestyle and is trying to keep it alive then just play it. It you don't have it just say that and get it for next week. No big deal. Just keep enough people tuned in so it will never die. If only to be 14 again listening to Nolan Thomas. It wasn't my favorite song of all times by any means but we will never get those times back. Sorry to go on about this.

If anyone thinks yo little brother is freestyle, then I guess pass the dutchie is freestyle too.

hey there LILGUMBYDAMNIT,

That's a good point, but I still can't see how your comparing the rap part of Scars of Love to yto little brother. The flow of the two songs are not close at all, TKA during the rap part of that song is rapping to the flow of the music which is carrying a consistant freestyle beat. Yo little brother is just not carrying a freestyle beat. Thats just my opinion.

yeah gumby that show hot tracks was off da hook!!! it was one of my favorite i got to meet carlos dejesus back in the days and yo all those videos that they got to show on tv i saw them all....and i remember when they first play "yo little brother" i was lookin at nolan and i was like damn this dude look alittle funny with that makeup he had on, he look like a cartoon character :lol but besides that i was just listening to the music which at that time that was the song of the moment whether if u thought of it as freestyle or not

by the way for those that remember seeing the video did ya notice how cheap and corny the background look? haha

hey lil' gumby
i'm blocks away from the golf course
i'll private message you my email address, but i can't seem to do that just yet.
