its wierd I just heard that song today..LOL.. I seen this thread before and I was like man I never heard that song..Then on the radio they did a old school jam and all i heard in he chorus wa syo yo liitle brother lol.I was liek oh shiat thast the song they debating about ..lol....To me it sounds totally hip hop......may have some freestyle in a way but to me it sounds like the hip hop of the 80"s ....

Kenny I too can give "opinions" on what genre I think songs that I've created are..... or what genre I was going for...... or what genre I want them to be..... or what genre I want peeps to think they are..... 🙂

exactly, seitz!! by all means, if you create a song, you have all the power to call what you want. can you control who plays it? probally not. can you control what people classify it? again, probally not BUT if you were to come out publicly and proclaim what genre the song would fall under, people will listen.

I got the info from one of freestyle's most knowledgable persons and he got it directly from the source.

remember, were the "fans", not the "creators"!

Ive been asking artists and producers that were around in that era and they all give me the same answer......"NOT FREESTYLE".
